Ah e1m8, nice. But I'm a bit confused as to where I go once I get there. I keep going in circles and running into dead ends. I killed all the manhandlas and still nothing. I tried lighting some of the skulls up to see if that was it. What am I missing?

Edit -nevermind - found it.

Edit 2 - Damn I still didn't die. Well, at least is was harder than the regular levels(I actually had to use a medicine on the boss, but still did it in one try), and it was pretty damn fun for the most part. The only parts I didn't like were the ones where like, 10 hands fell from above. Other than that, pretty cool dungeon, could be harder, then again, I've yet to do master dome.

Hi everybody! I just got a new computer last month (because my old one... well, broke.), and I already got bored on the internet, so I thought "Any new quests for ZC maybe?" I opened the forum and... Oo-la-la! Lost Isle!

Thanks a lot. I'm expecting this to be a good one... I suppose I have to download ZC again, too :P

Hehe, even though it was released 2 months ago, well it's never too late to give LI a shot. 😉 Oh and welcome back to the fantastic world of ZC!

Anarchy, have you actually died in this game at all? It seems like Lost Isle is too easy for you. And if it is, I suggest you forget about the Dragonscale Mail (the best tunic) or else the final boss may be a pushover for a skilled player like yourself.
Oh and if Lost Isle feels easy for you, then Wind Waker and Minish Cap must be childsplay for you am I right? I found those games ridiculously easy, but I think LI gives players at least a decent challenge.

Yes, I died a few times in the trap room of level 1, also when I first started exploring I missed the sword cave and went everywhere without it, died a few times then. I came real close a few times to getting death-touched too, I had to walk right next to a few deathbos, one sudden turn would have been it. I also had to reset a few times due to the hands, though those don't count as deaths either.

I'm also dying in the master dome, so yeah, I won't be zero gamming this. On that note, job well done with the dome. I like how you tried to make it less obvious how to find the entrance by making the player use the wand. But, a dead end that required the ladder to get to just wasn't something I was buying so I used everything on that wall. The wand was it and I got in.

I also like how you made the bombchus harder to deal with than the ones in dungeon impossible. In the other dungeon, I could just hide behind blocks and stuff to keep the other monster from bothering me while I deal with the kamikazis, but the master dome doesn't seem to allow that strategy, I'll have to devise something else. I also like how you used mirror wizzrobes there without the player being able to get the mirror shield yet. Yeah, you don't always have to sit there kill everything on screen, running by is valid too and it seems master dome is emphasizing this.

It, could use some "enemies always return" flags though. Otherwise you can just grind away at rooms until they have 1 monster left, then walk through a now easy level that should have been hard. As for wind walker and minish cap, I never played them, so I dunno.

Actually, the 'enemies return' flag was unchecked for the very reason of difficulty. Testers were complaining of its difficulty but stated that I shouldn't change it for the world. So consider the fact that you can eliminate rooms of enemies little by little as ANOTHER tactic to get through the master dome.

I'm going in circles. I got the key, the map, and the compass, but I can't get to the boss key. Is there a wall I'm supposed to bomb or something?

Okay, maybe I'm just in drugs, but I need some help with the sound on the LI build player... All volume settings are to the right as much as possible, which means they should be on, but I can't hear any BG music. Or is there any??? :|

Of course there is BG music. You don't hear any? No voi perkele... I wonder what might be wrong. I have this other guy on a Finnish Zelda forum that has the same problem: Cannot hear bg music, but sound effects work just fine. 😞 But you two are the only ones with this weird and unfortunate problem. Have you checked your computer's sound settings "Äänenvoimakkuus asetukset" or something like that?

Anarchy, I'm pretty sure there wasn't a Boss Key in the Dome. Only one regular key, or am I compeltely wrong, Wolfie? I have only completed that dungeon once because of its frustrating difficulty...

Everything was fine in the sound settings, all panels turned on (Ohjelmistosyntetisaattori myös).

Huh? It suddenly started playing... without exiting the cave or doing anything at all! Weird....

one key + boss key in Master Dome. You can get the Boss Key in the upper left of the master dome. If the door isn't a locked door to be entered, flip the dungeon and try again.

Gotcha. Yeah, I didn't know flipping it would effect the door. I do now. Only 1 small problem. It seems I can only get to it when it appears like this:

But I need it to appear different which means the stars need to look like this:

Going down only leads to the right or left parts of the room. Which consequently means that if you can't get to the needed room from the bottom when you have the stars looking that way, you can't get to it from the left or right either, which leaves only the top. Problem is when I go up-left-down, I can't go left to get to the room I need to. The only other 2 paths are right and up-right-down which lead to dead-ends. What am I missing?

To Anarchy_balsac: I recall that you only need to flip twice to get into that room. At least...twice as far as I recall. I'm suspecting there is a script at work.

You will need to find a long way around. Here is a hint: go back to the map.

The first screenshot, is with 2 flips.

I know I'm a little late to the party here, but I just downloaded this the other day and started playing it last night. So far, it looks fantastic and is definitely one of the more challenging quests I've played. I've been exploring the village, but for the life of me can't find the bomb upgrade or the entrance to Level 1. In fact, I don't even have a guess as to where Level 1 is supposed to be?! Any help?

I honestly couldn't find the bomb upgrade, but the entrance to Level 1 is in the swamp in the far southwest. Expect to explore the swamp before you actually find the dungeon. 😉

Okay, I must just be plain stupid. I have had the wand for one month or more, but I still can't find the boss key or the boss door. Any help?

It's in the orderra graveyard, under a cracked, bombable rock.

This game is great, how did you guys make the people talk when you walk up to them.I tryed it and it wont wrok for my quest.😞

I also need help on level 4. Can't get to the flame chip no matter what I do, I actually got the boss key before the flame chip.

Hmm... have you been to the Lab yet?

GamerMan, I made the guys talk using tile warps. The warp takes Link to an identical screen with the text and the text box. When Link steps down a warp takes him back to the original screen.

I still need to work on the Master Dome.
I've been busy so I haven't had too much of a chance to finish this Dome, but I guess it can't be too important. I don't know what item is in there, but i have a strong feeling its the Level 4 sword.

Petoe wrote:Hmm... have you been to the Lab yet?

I have now, but only because I looked to earlier in the thread where another guy had the same problem. I had no idea the red light could be wanded, the hint there should have been more clear.

Edit - After many tries, I actually managed to get passed the mini boss. The official death count is 11, but I did reset a lot, the reason was I kept having to kill the last green slime and wanted to keep their number at 1, killing it would reset this. I think I died about 25 times on him. Mostly because I had to learn the strategy for him with only 3 hearts, pretty hard to learn a boss you die on rapidly, but it's a hazard of the play style. Once I learned phase 1 and 2, I was able to get through them without being hit. phase 3 was a pain with the random movement of bubbles combining with definite laser attack which made impossible to avoid damage at times, but once it was over, I slashed the fucker to death.

And I did it all without medicine, woohoo.

Nope, the golden arrow(or awsome arrows as lost isle calls it). The powerful sword is in the catacombs.

Anywho peteo, still having problems with gate 2, where am I supposed to go to open it?

Petoe wrote:This is where the Boss Key is: http://youtube.com/watch?v=FbW6muDti58
The boss door is on the southeastern part of the DARK Side.

Well, on my own I got as far as the puzzle where hit the switch to move the mirrors to hit the stalfos with the wand, but I didn't figure out you had to shoot it with an arrow, then your sword, then repeat.

New problem, I don't have the key to open the boss chest.:uhoh: Sorry, but, as you can see, I am not very good at this.

russadwan, I assume you have used the key that the big red plant was guarding? Well the other key is in the southwestern corner of the DARK Side. With the Wand it is pretty easy to find that corner even without any directions. When you get to the corner screen, you see a chest on top of a pillar. But how to open a chest that is so high....? Well, try using your items on the pillar... 😉

Oh and Anarchy Balsac, why did you have to spoil the Master Dome item for Zeldafan.... 😞

Watching that youtube video, I saw Link had the boomerang. So how do you get it? It's my favorite item, so I'd rather get it sooner than later.

The wooden boomerang is on horgrus, you get it after level 2, and after getting the candle. Not hard to find, just explore.

Oh and BTW:

😃

Edit - Got the cultist cave too, 3 manhandla 2's, 3 tries, and 3 life meters(cus I used 2 potions), I just love that crazy coincidence.
