So that means you're not supposed to be able to walk up any of the cave walls in there? I'll post a screenie of what I mean, next I get the chance.

Oh please do, as I'm not quite sure what you are talking about. O_o

These are the two screens I found you could do this. It does't mess around with the game any, it's just odd. I thought it was a fiendish way of hiding a secret. Here they are:

EDIT: You can only walk a little bit left and right, and only on the lower walls, as seen in the shot.
EDIT2: This was using AB's 3-heart save, just to let you know. (I was to lazy to reload mine. :P)

Ah, thanks Blaman. Those are nothing more than unintentional bugs it seems. Some unnamed person used walkable tiles accidentally instead of solid ones....

I don't see what's wrong with leaving it in and letting us have a little fun with it. It's not like it fucks up the game. Not everything that's a glitch needs to automatically be fixed you know.

This is true, I guess if anything 'truly' needed to be fixed, I'd probably wager the power rod chip box on top of level 4 needs to be fixed. People really should 'need' a key to get it. But 2.5 is a long ways off before that happens, so enjoy the glitches. :P

I've been wandering around Level 2 for a few days now, and for the life of me I can't find the second key. I've found the bosses door and the chest with the Boss Key, but can't get in as I don't have the second key. I looked through this thread, and saw somewhere the it was in the southwest corner of the dark world, but I must be completely missing it. I also saw somewhere (I thought) that it was on a pedestal, and you have to figure out how to get it down? Am I way, WAY off base, or if not, can anyone give me some more clues as to where in the world it is! Thanks!!!

Hi new here, very nice game.

I need help !
I'm stuck in Lv1, I have both keys and the raft, but I can't get by the big block to get the master key.

regards luzil😕😕

Stigmata, once you find the pillar with the chest on top of it, bomb it to reach the key.

Any clues on where the pillar with the chest on top is located? Does the southwest corner of the dark world sound right?

Thanks russadwan.

Yes, southwest corner of the dark side. It is pretty easy to get there once you have obtained the wand.

stigmata, just head for the southwestern corner. There are 2 ways to get there so you should eventually end up there even though you may feel completely lost at the moment. 😉

What big block? Are you talking about that huge Eye block? Oh, you cannot do anything about the Eye block yet.
The next thing you have to do is to get the Boss Key. The Boss Key is about in the middle of the bottom (B2) floor, and you can get there using your raft. When you get to the center area of B2, there is a bombable wall between 2 statues. Bomb the weak part of the wall and enter the secret room to find the Boss Key Chest. 😊

I completely forgot about that stone. Now that I have the ocarina, I should go back and see what's behind it.

Thanks Petoe !

But I still don't understand. I can see on the map where it is but do I have to lower the water down to B2 or B1 ??? Now confused but on a higher level !!

You have to steer the raft, which can be a pain. And the water must not be drained on B2 of course.

Thanks Anarchy_Balsac !

I'm on the B2 level just south of the stairs, but where can I enter the raft to go east ? gettin' paranoid soon !!

Thanks Russadwan and Petoe, I finally managed to find it. I just realized there was a direction I could go in that I didn't notice before. I'm off to find the boss! 😃

When you are in the Water Control room of B2, go east a screen then north a screen and use the Raft to sail through the B2 floor. You can steer the Raft with the directional keys when you are next to a solid object. 😉

After you play the boss, go back about two pages in this thread and read Peteo and DFW's big arguement over it. It is hilarious.

BTW Peteo, my friend and I are starting a joint quest right now. Do you have any advice on how to avoid arguments?

I'll have to do that when I get some time tonight. For the moment, I'm working my way through the first Triforce dungeon, and have gotten to the third puzzle room but can't figure out what the blocks are signifying in terms of direction. As I can't post images (or don't know how yet) I'll try and recreate down below:

________________
____XX__XXX___
__X_________X_
__X___________
__X______C____
__X___________

Where C is a candle and the X's are the blocks. Make any sense?

EDIT: Never mind, I stumbled on to the solution. Any help on the next puzzle, with the six rotating blades in the room?

Well, unless you are really really good friends and you think alike, I suggest one of you is in charge of the project. With 2 co-developers like we had with Lost Isle, it's just arguments after another... yes, no, yes, no, I said yes, I said no! 🙄

Anyhoo, good luck with your joint quest.

stigmata: The number of blocks is the answer. One on the right, that means go one screen to right, then there's a pair of blocks near the northern door which... well, you get it? 😉

Thanks a lot everybody, I solved it !! The problem was the arrow on the lever to get through to the water. Really good quest, im fascinated but time is running away, more than 20 hours now.

luzil on the way to getting power gauntlet and more🙄

Oooh... over 20 hours already? O_O That's pretty cool. At this pace your finishing time could be something like 80 hours... 😉

Ya, my times is probably somewhere around there. Hey, I found some interesting bug, that is a problem with the build. None of the music plays correctly. I can only hear half the notes. For instance, in level 3, all I can here is some moroca like ratling in a steady beat, which I imagine is the backround noise for the midi. Any solution? And while I am posting, where can I find the royal family's melody?

Anyhoo, good luck with your joint quest.

I already feel sorry for all you two went through. Day 2 of planning and we already disagree. And we thought we agreed on everything.

Ouch, 2nd day and already in disagreement...
I guess you understand now why there aren't many finished group quests out there...

And what comes to the sound problems of the LI Build, have you always had the sound issues? I only know a couple of people mentioning that they cannot get the music to play at all, but your problem sounds weird. O_o I seriously haven't got a clue why ZC acts that way for some people.

The Royal Melody is on the 2nd floor. When you get to the explosives room, well... you should play with fire and see what happens, uh oh... 😉

Petoe wrote:stigmata: The number of blocks is the answer. One on the right, that means go one screen to right, then there's a pair of blocks near the northern door which... well, you get it? 😉

Petoe, I got through that room after randomly finding the right path, but now need help with the room with the six spinning blades. It doesn't seem like there are any blocks that give a clue as to what direction you should go, and I've tried following the pattern of the engravings on the floor, but with no luck.

Out of curiosity, are all the triforce dungeons set up like this, or just the first one?

Only the first one is set up tht way. But they all have themes. Like one is falling through cracks in the floor to land on the right platform on the floor below. I believe the path to get through the room with the traps is right, up, right, up. I am not sure though. I just wrote out every possible combination on paper and started testing. Half way through Link walked into the room with the triforce.
