From the entrance of Level 4 go one screen north and one screen west. Go upstairs by using the ladder. Follow the straightforward path up on Floor 2 and you should eventually end up outisde of Level 4 and find the laboratory.

Sorry Petoe, but I don't find the output, I don't know where I sin, instructions are simple. I am sappy or I don't know, on the way is what trick? Do you send me a picture or anything similarly, thank you very much on befriend and appreciation.

Right now I am unable, I gotta go in a minute, but tomorrow I can help you with pictures or even with a video unless someone else is quicker than me.

edit - Here's your help:

Do like in that picture.
First shoot the red flashing thing on the ground with your Wand magic then go upstairs to where the arrow points. 😉

Petoe thenk you very, very much!! I am particulary indebted on befriend, you are good friend. Thank for a picture, I am not remember for use a magic wand for shoot the red flashing thing. Thank you once again, the game is fantastic!

Alright, where's the last key before the step ladder in level 3? I'm sure I can find it if I look hard enough, but I don't exactly feel like combing all those floors, room by room, over and over again.

The step ladder is the one where you kill the statues right?

Yeah, the ladder is in the room after the statue "minigame".

Oh boy, what could I say to help you in your key search since I have no idea what are the keys you've got.... One key many people miss is the one on Floor 1, near the throne room behind a Royal Melody door. Could it be that one?

No I got that one, it was an easy one to get. I had gotten so sick of seeing the music notes by the time I had the royal melody that I knew their locations(both of them) by heart.

I know that the first couple keys can not be skipped, so it isn't them that I missed. Are there any behind bombed walls I may have missed?

Heading off to bed now, but here are my stats.

26 hours of play time and I just finished getting the Rod Upgrade Chip. Gonna stop the dungeon for a while and find the two missing Triforce pieces when I start playing again.

Extremely fabulous quest...

Anarchy: Hmm... maybe you missed the key that is on the southern edge of F1? You can only get there from above (F2). Or maybe you missed the key that is on the balcony outside of the level (you can get to the balcony from the southern area of F2)?
If it gets too tough to find that one missing key, then I could always tell you the location of the well hidden extra key...

Zeldafan: 26 hours in the middle of Level 4? Nice. 😊 I thought Lost Isle would only take about 20 hours to beat but for many people it is taking over 30 hours. I'm happy it offers so many hours of entertainment for people.

I found it actually, it was a key you had to drop from F3 to F2 to get(upper left corner of F2). Should be able to get through the rest, never found the compass, but found the nightmare's lair anyway.

Edit- Heh, that was the easiest boss yet. Gohmas and damage combos go well together, but not with one-shot gohmas, I didn't even get hit. And the patra was even easier. It was funny to watch orlach get pissed off at me though.

I have seen Level 5, unfortunately I can't get into it just yet...

31 hours of game play, and I now have some more goodies, I found all 6 Triforce pieces, completed the Triforce cave in the graveyard plus got the item hidden inside. Also managed to find the Cultist Cave, not to mention the item and the super-secret .... found inside. I also have 13 hearts, so I am probably missing 8 pieces of heart plus the heart container. I'll keep searching for the three other hidden items that will be useful to have...

Ahh, another lucky one to get through the Graveyard Catacombs... 😉

Whaaat? 😱
You got some awesome playing skills, sir! I regard myself as a pretty good player but no matter how hard I try, I cannot survive the battle without being hit... and some people have told me it is a pretty tough battle. Oh well, what can you do...

I also don't get hit on level 3's boss. Its all a matter of knowing where the plant spikes sprout for each 'phase' of the battle and going to the safe spots and taking your time. Patience is a good virtue to have for this battle for a flawless victory.

^For sure.
I've got through the cultivists cave (that was just too easy), and now am in the master dome. (Darn it, why'd you two hide it so friggen hard? Heck for that matter, why'd you make the master dome so friggen hard! :P 😉 j/k)

Zelfafan:
You mean there's something in the cultivists cave other than the shield?

Well the Master Dome is the ultimate challenge and its got a very nice prize, so it must be hidden well. And yes Blaman, a VERY good secret lies within the cultist cave, not just the shield.

Well, I did use a lot of gohma(3-shot) in combination with damage combo battles in link paradox which I got through in beta testing. The damage combos were also harder to evade and there's even a boss gohma that takes 16 hits, and though he comes with no damage combos, he has plenty of unkillable zoras that take 2 hearts off you(his shots take 4).

Needless to say I didn't find this boss all that hard after that. Additionally oval patras can't hit you if you face them and slash rapidly.

Hmm... well they say "practice makes you perfect" or something like that... so I'm not doubting you. 😊
But damn, if you can get through the Level 4 boss fight (IMO the toughest boss in the game) unharmed, then I don't know what to say...

62 deaths, 37:07:17, currently missing 2 pieces of heart, I know where one is, in the Level 4 to the far right. I am missing the magical boomerang, and don't remember what the amulet does, I collected it but it had no cutscene or anything, so what does it do again?

Here's my review: Very very nice quest, I did take this one pretty slow, and did a very decent amount of exploration, even multiple times in the same areas. I know I am also missing the Morach cave, will find that sure enough sometime when I desire to find the stuff I missed.

The story was a sad one, but still overall very good. The dungeons were fantastic, I'm pretty sure you had to draw the dungeons on paper first, the complication of keeping track of everything to make sure the order is maintained and nothing happens to break. Very very nice job.

This next part may sound strange, but at first I wasn't too much of a big fan of the overworld, considering how much you had to use the items to progress in a certain area. Usually I feel an overworld works when its somewhat realistic in that only physical limitations such as your health or something like that that prevents you from fully exploring a new area. Strangely enough, I also hate it at the same time, because I'm usually having the most fun when solving the puzzles that a dungeon has to offer. In the end, I got used to your overworld and I do believe that it works for this quest.

I did kick myself on a few screens because at first I wasn't sure how to solve a puzzle and there was even one that I didn't know was a puzzle and happened to stumble upon something that showed I had to use logic to continue. There is still one I'm trying to figure out that has two cracked blocks at the bottom left on a ledge that you get to near the very end of the cave that is above the screen with the entrance and a skull on a stick at the top right, but bombing the blocks didn't work and neither did killing all the enemies on screen which I think were black bats, gibdos, and a Grasp.

Difficulty-wise, I'd say it also suited well with this quest, I didn't lose my first shield until Level 3 believe it or not. I did a good job at avoiding Grasps, but it became difficult with the pits in Level 3.

I thought all of the scripts were enjoyable too, I haven't been following Zelda Classic lately, but this quest is proving that Zelda Classic is showing to be an excellent quest making program. I was extremely amazed and can't wait to see a stable Zelda Classic based on what was accomplished with this quest. I also want to say thank you to your beta testers, as they did an excellent job to ensure that there were no bugs with this quest, I couldn't find any myself, nor did the continue bug happen to rear its ugly face.

One last note, your places that happen to contain special hidden items weren't as hard to find as they thought they would be. I managed to find all Triforce dungeons with pretty little difficulty.

Also, on the top of my head, I think I have uncovered four or five hidden caves with the stones in it with mysterious information.

The magic boomerang is in the cave with those weird cracked rocks and the skull on a pole. Hit the skull with your old crappy boomerang and those cracked rocks go away.

The amulet is only useful in the hidden special dungeon: Master Dome.

And you're right about Lost Isle testers, they are an awesome bunch and thanks to their efforts there are no noticeable bugs in Lost Isle. 😊

Thanks for the review. It's always a joy to read them. Though I gotta ask: Since you finished the quest without the best possible shield, how hard was the final boss for you? His fire attacks can be tough to avoid without that shield... 😉

Geez, enough with the hands. It's annoying just to see them, now they're in Xaagan wastes too. I don't like having to reset when I am near full health just because a hand spawned 1 square away from me. I hated them in lava flows, hated them in level 3, and now they're in Xaagan. Please tell me that level 4, the master dome, and the catacombs don't have them.

How many times do I have to walk south to get out of the wastelands maze? I swear I walked down for like 20 minutes. Definitely lost count how many screens.(BTW, austrailian members may want to be given the hint the island being in the northern hemisphere, as they are used to a southern magnetism and thus a northern disposition)

Hmm... If I remember correctly, you have to walk south only once. I think the first tip was to "walk where the sun rises" and that is east of course. The second one was to walk to the opposite of magnetic disposition or something like that, and that's south. The you have to walk east as far as the eye can see (in this case one scree is as much as you can see 😉 ) and then the last direction... shouldn't be tough to just guess it. 😊

BTW, you said something about those hands spawning near you, but I find it hard to believe. I think I made it pretty sure all the nasty enemies don't spawn near the edges of a screen... (?)

Well they appear on a lot of screens so I can imagine it's somehow possible(first time was today in wastelands, still annoyed me though). I'd really like it better if they just damaged the player, even if it's heavy damage, than for them to take the shield away. I very often kill the enemies that die fast then walk on and off screens in the hopes the hands will disappear, I'd much rather deal with deathbos, seriously.

Edit - Triforce dungeon 5 - Now THAT's what I'm talkin about. I actually had to use a medicine on that one. I see you used dungeon impossible's special goriya too, nice touch 😉.

Also, where's the DOOM music? I thought catacombs had some. Or was it DOOM 3? It's good don't get me wrong, but believe me, I've played doom, doom 2 and even final doom enough to say it's music came from none of them.

Doom 64. 😉

And yeah, Grasps can be ANNOYING and *****! Believe me but there were tons more of them before the release, but thank goodness I decided to reduce their numbers. Still, I don't think they are that big of a deal since you can just stun them with a Boomerang or drop a Fish somewhere on the screen and lure them all to it. And once you get the the best shield in the game, you don't have to worry about Grasps anymore.

Ah, yeah I never got a chance to play doom 64, so I dunno. Kinda wish regular doom music was used though, but only because I miss their time. But yeah I usually don't get grabbed either, it's just annoying when I do.

I do have to wonder, why go through the trouble for doom 64 music when regular doom music is so much easier to find?

Well, actually the hell cave music under the Catacombs is from Doom 1 I'm sure, but I just accidentally found a couple of Doom 64 MIDIs and I loved them. The rest of the music is pretty much chosen by DFW, but I think all the music in this game fit perfectly, especially since I built the dungeons after hearing the MIDIs so the MIDIs kind of gave me the idea what the levels should be like.

Stuck right at the beginning! Have bombed my way into the two houses and gone down the steps into the cave beneath the village. I can see an item chest in the far south west room, with a doorway on the south wall, but can't get to it. Is it really obvious? 😕 Need help.

You have found both of the entrances to the cave? Good. One of the entrances takes you to the Arrows and the other entrance takes you to the Bow. Don't worry about any unreachable chests in the south, head north a bit and you should eventually find these 2 items from the cave.

I have a problem when playing this. I have the Lost Isle Build, but whenever I load it up, the screen is half black on bottom. I move my mouse down to the bottom half, and it disappears as if there's nothing there. I need to know how to get rid of this problem... I deleted my 2.10 file 'cause I thought it was interfering with it, but it didn't help. Is there any way to get it in window mod, like 2.10? It happened with that too, but went away when I got in windowed mode.
