Good news, my happy campers! I have just finished the big LttH update, and I believe I will have it finalized and ready to download on New Year's Day. And russadwan, yes, the boss is quite a bit more difficult. It almost forced me to use my 2nd potion. 😉

OK all, I have a question: I am on level one, I have the boomerang, bow & arrow, but I cannot get past the two blocks in the room where the boss door is what am I to do next? Thanks.
Eddie 😎
Never mind, I figured it out! Thanks.
Eddie 😎
Well... take a look at that room. There must be something you can do with one of your newly-acquired items. Perhaps you can do something to that cyclops statue...
EDIT: You beat me. 😛
Alright, I finished level one, bombed north and have been in the mountains. Not sure what to do next. How do I get into the inn? Any help! Thanks.
Eddie 😎
Naturally, you need to find the entrance to Level 2. One of the Gorons gave you a hint about the location. (The entrance to Level 2 happens to be in the topmost row of Hestone.)
In order to enter the inn, you need a reservation pass (they can be bought in North Hyrule Field). Use the reservation pass on the screen with the lady asking for it in order to access your room.
Thanks Pineconn, I have been up to the top most row and if the entrance is where the 2 dead trees and rock are at, I cannot figure out how to get pass that. I have tried everything. Thanks again!
Eddie 😎
No, the entrance is between two orange bushes. You'll see that the mountain tile is slightly different than the rest. Bomb here.

So, where's the download? Oh, and does he shoot fireballs from statues? There is a bug in build 704 with fireball shooting statues I want to take advantage of. And by the way, who made the final boss music? It sounds pretty good.
Edit: post 799. One more untill 800.
russadwan wrote:So, where's the download?
I lied. 😛 I'll have it tomorrow. I still want to add each dungeon's level number and name to the subscreen map. It shouldn't take long.
russadwan wrote:Oh, and does he shoot fireballs from statues? There is a bug in build 704 with fireball shooting statues I want to take advantage of.
He does, but I'm not sure if you'll get that flamethrower effect.
russadwan wrote:And by the way, who made the final boss music? It sounds pretty good.
Dan Furst.
I cannot get the wand,I have gotten and used the 4 keys in the list, but there is still a locked door before the wand, unless I am going the wrong way.
Nevermind, just found the man in the mountain.
Good morning guys,
I am just starting to play and need some help.
Any one mind to help an old buddy from Brazil ?
I am in level one still , and i could not find the other 2 keys outside, any hint ???
PS: Elise, long time , no see , remember me ?
OOp: found 1 back in the trees , still short of one !
Found the othe one thanks !
I found the map, but it shows nothing on the screen of the level, bug or i need the compass ??

I think that would be a bug. What version are you using. The maps work fine for me.

2.10 !
it looks like the dark of the screens is too dark, i think maybe is something with my computer.😞
Try adjusting your monitor's brightness settings or if you are using a laptop, I know if I slightly change the angle of the screen then I can see the map just fine.
Update!
Link to the Heavens v1.1.0 is up for download as of today! If you wish to have the newest and most bugless version of LttH, download it now!
[Yes! I wish to have LttH v1.1.0!] | [No. I want to be a dreadful bore.]
After you unzip it, all you have to do is replace both the quest file and the text file. It will ask you if this is okay, so select "Yes to All". The text file is important to have because it will tell you what version of LttH you have, as well as any bug fixes.
The highlight of this update is that Level 8 is a tad longer and the final boss is a bit more difficult (and longer). Also, you'll be able to view each dungeon's name by bringing up the subscreen map (while in a dungeon).
OK, maybe I am blind or something. I cannot find the key that is outside Level 4 dungeon. I have the blue tunic and the money bag but I have not been able to find the key. I have looked everywhere (or so I think I have) and cannot find the key. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!! 😡

Level 4 dungeon...ice! Go into the dungeon, take the left exit from this room, and look around carefully.

You have the bracelet so you can move rocks....like the ones in town....?
And yes, I'm answering questions because I AM stuck on that cave before level 6 due to lack of "skillz."

you have been away along time , hope to see you more around again , have lots of fun playing this quest it's a real good one , and Pinnecon is really good in "the after work " helping the players further if they have questions 😃
Okay, I just beat the last boss again. It was definitly an improvement. Very well done. Although it was still very, very, very, easy. I did not have to use a single potion. Although that part where Link is constantly warped to the screen with the spliting darknuts if he doesn't complete the puzzles in time gets pretty annoying. Are the changes in level 8 significant enough for me to play through it again? Or are they just minor changes?
Edit: I just relized something! In the demo version of the game, one of the new features was diagonal sand pit conveyers that did not hurt you if you touched the middle of them. But in the game, they hurt Link if you get pulled down to the center of them!

Um... you got that backwards. 😉 When you enter, you need to take a right, then find something to do in that room.

Also, you could have gained access to a Goron in the Hestone Mountains by playing the Ocarina on a musical note near the entrance to Level 2. He would have hinted you that you need to push some stones in Narajo Town.

I seem to be noticing a trend. Several people have completed my quest with around 27 hours of gameplay. It took me, in my final playthrough, 9 hours to complete the quest. It took the average person, after doing the incredibly simple math, 3 times more time to complete the quest.
You have just completed Level 2 with very close to 3 hours of time spent. During my last playthrough, I wrote down the time after entering and exiting all dungeons. You know what the time was when I exited Level 2? Exactly 1 hour. That's 3 times more for you. Freaky.
elise wrote:and Pinnecon is really good in "the after work " helping the players further if they have questions 😃
Oh yes, I can't leave my "constituents" stuck. I don't mind giving out massive hints so that everyone has the chance to fully complete the quest.

Seriously? I can't beat the boss without using a potion. Then again, I don't try too hard.
russadwan wrote:Are the changes in level 8 significant enough for me to play through it again? Or are they just minor changes?
Not really. I simply added a few screens to the NE corner of F3, and I added a few more enemies/spikes around the dungeon.

You mean you never realized that the sand pits hurt you in LttH?
Pineconn wrote:Um... you got that backwards. 😉 When you enter, you need to take a right, then find something to do in that room.
I am very very bad with right and left. ..at least there IS no left? ^^'
Pineconn wrote:You mean you never realized that the sand pits hurt you in LttH?
I relized tha they hurt you. In fact, I have died quite a few times from them. But I just relized that in the demo, one of the features that was talked about (2/6 to be exact) was that they did NOT hurt you.
Thanks, I needed the info. Also Time played/death count dont mean much to me, unless i'm speedrunning (which i'm not), so me having high numer there doesn't mean much
Now i'm stuck in room 64 in level 3. Can't seem to get to chest without resetting room, any help would be appreciated please. (Room with the falling floor and the boomerang crystal.)

DL867 out
Well, I'm in the first dungeon and I can't seem to find a way... I found the 2 keys outside the dungeon...

As you should know, 3 keys are needed to enter Level 1. One was given to you by the old man in the house. One is found on the screen directly north of the entrance to Level 1, and the other is found on the screen directly northeast of the entrance to Level 1. Pray that you need the latter, because that is easy to get from Level 1's entrance. The other (the one north of Level 1)... well, you'd have to go all the way around the swamp again. 😉
Pineconn just on a side note, I have a suggestion for the next LttH update. Change the Link sprite. I can't stacd Pure Link. He looks so fat. Try DoR Link, or at least Hybrid Link. Even Classic Link is better than Pure Link.
