This is slightly off-topic, but I want to make my own quest using a different tileset than the default, but I don't know how. I've downloaded the pure tileset and put it in the right folder and everything, but I don't know how to get it up on the quest editor. Can you tell me how to do it, or direct me to the right thread (I tried searching, but I couldn't find anything helpful, though I probably missed a thread or two...)

Also, there's a really annoying bug in your quest where when you slash at a gel and it splits up into two mini-gels, they kind of appear randomly instead of where the big gel was when you slashed it, often times right under you, causing damage....

Pinecoinn Hi! So you built this game? It's awesome thanks but we are stuck at Zora's Cave training center. Is there a code to get through or something we need to get through that part? It's so hard...we've tried many times and keep failing. Thanks. How does this site work? I'm new.

Okay, I feel like a total noob for this but I can't even really get started. How do I get into the hut to get the sword?

hello, i'm french
(sorry for my english)

I am blocked (bug) at beginning of level 4, I took the key that is located outside (4:29) but when I go at the door (4.42), this one will not open .
I started a game a 2nd time but I still have the same bug.
i have zc 2.10

Well, I finally finished this quest, and now I have a few thoughts I'd like to share to help improve this or future quests. On the whole, I was very pleased with this quest. The last few dungeons were quite frustrating and I got lost many times, but I like to see that in a quest. Secondly, having played both LttH and EotDX I can see many similarities between the two quests although each one still feels unique.

My main criticism of the quest was the final boss. The boss itself, that is to say the fighting portions, felt like a logical progression of challenge, just as difficult as I'd expect. My complaint is the timed portion of the fight. It felt to me like there was not nearly enough time to react to my surroundings and still get to the warp before I was sent back to fight with yet two more Darknuts. I spent an hour and a half (not an exaggeration) trying and retrying the boss, finally getting good enough that I was able to complete that hellish portion. I can't speak for anybody else, but I personally hated the timed puzzle.

Overall, I'd give it a 9/10. Excellent quest! 😊

Heh, yeah, that part of the boss is pretty... tedious, to say. I should have added about a half second to each phase. My least favorite part of the final boss, though, is the part where you have to dodge the red orbs. That was poorly implemented in my opinion.

But thank you for your input and for completing the quest! 😊 (If you didn't already, be sure to go back to where the Volcanic Wasteland was for an additional side quest.)

Hi!

This quest is really great until level 5. I start being totally frustrated as I cannot get the third key. I'm trying now since 2 days, but still I am not able to proceed any further than 3/4 into the training ground (9 hearts, full potion, blue clothing)...

Is there any "hidden secret" or way round to get the (a) third key for dungeon 5???
If not, I'll give this quest up - seems too hard for me 😞

Hi!

Thanks for answering anyway so long after releasing this quest - and the link!!
My problem was that I simply could not finish the training ground to get the third key to enter level 5 (I'm not a great "fighter"😉 - so I finally gave up on this quest although it has been great fun to play so far...
Thanks for investing so many time to give me some great hours of fun - I enjoyed it very much (same as End of Time DX, that I played before)

Hey blabla, if you still wish to finish my quest, I actually built in a solution to your problem. I made a hidden secret that allows you to skip the final two-thirds of the Zora Training Ground, making it much easier. Check your PMs.

Thanks a million - of course I want to continue... :bouncy:

By the way, did you get that PM? There might be a glitch on the forums prohibiting PMs from being sent. If you didn't get it, I'll send you the information via e-mail or just right here.

Thanks for asking, I got your PM and finally managed to "complete" the training ground. At the moment I'm happily dying in Level 7 *g*
The quest continues as great as it started - it's really perfect!!

I appreciate it! Level 7 is very difficult. If you can get past that, Level 8 isn't quite as puzzling (but requires a little more stamina, I think). Level 9 is a doozy, as is the final boss.

"little more stamina" - nice said *g*
Actually the room with the 2 blocks to be moved without reflecting fire-balls drives me nuts. But I don't give up :sb:

Hahaha. Just think, this is the easier one. You'll have to solve another one of these in Level 9 that is much more difficult...

When in doubt, take the damage!

I just started playing the zelda classic games and downloaded your Link to the Heavens.
How in the world do I get into the house with the blue roof to get the sword? or any of the doors that are closed for that matter.
I know this sounds pretty stupid but would still like to know.
thanks, BarryBGB
