Ok, I'm stuck! I'm in Bhalstock and I've reached the ammunition room (very clever by the way)... I've run out of keys AND I've got stuck in the star room north of the ammo room... Where can I find some keys? Also how do I get to this beach cave (where there is appraently a key as well), AND how do I get the mirror shield? 😞

OK Found the key that I was looking for... I could REALLY use a tip on how to reach the beach cave and mirror shield though... rackum frackum grasps always after mah shields!
ok found the beach cave... need the #$%^& ladder! Got the melody, got the heart piece, now looking to open up the shortcut up on the 3rd floor...
ok im on the right track now i think... that disappearing floor though is a real frustrating experience when you're doing it for the 50th time (no joke)... at least I've got the route memorized now! 😊

As for the disappearing floors, you really only need to complete them once, since there is usually a switch on the other side that permenantly makes them walkways after you complete them.
rent-a-mod? LOL DarkFlameWolf ... anyway in all seriousness I've played this already for a couple hours and got the bow and arrow and I'm in level 1 now, already tricky and I'll eventually figure it out (hopefully) ... stupid flying pots already killed me twice 🙄
I haven't played it since last night so maybe I'll give it a try again today.
All in all this is a huge quest, amazing dungeon (only seen 1 so far) and overworld is massive. I don't know if I can finish this but I'll try...oh and 1 question, what are those huge grey rectangular engraved objects in the overworld? (and there's 1 in level 1 that was blocking a passageway, do I need to get something there?) Am I supposed to superbomb those things or what?
I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions if I don't find the answers in this thread.

Nevermind I finished level 1 and got the heart container with the master key. On to level 2 I guess 😊
those blocks you'll later find out react to the ocarina. So might want to backtrack to level 1 and see what's behind that block sometime in the future! The quest gets more complex, more rough, and even better the further you go in. The final ending story and sequence is worth the effort in getting there. Good luck in accomplishing this quest, it is no small task.
Ok cool, well I haven't played much yet since yesterday but what should I have before level 2? I found the Power Gauntlet and the Ocarina so far plus I got the 500 quiver upgrade and 1 bomb upgrade and I think 2 magic upgrades so far. I have 7 full and 0/4 HC pieces but according to the info I should have 7 full and 1/4 HC pieces so I'm missing 1 piece :uhoh:
And last but not least (for now hehe) can I get the white sword or boomerang somewhere? This is getting hard without those 2 items 😞
ok found the key... it WAS obvious... just had to move EVERY armos in the armos room.

You have to beat the 2nd Temple before you can even dream about getting the White Sword. The boomerang is up in the mountains and you need the Candle to get to the Boomerang... after you get the Power Rod from Level 2 you could leave the level to wander around to find the Candle and the Boomerang to make things easier for you.

Hehe well I kinda gave up on level 2 because I'm not good at remembering complex puzzles and that level was getting on my nerves :googly:

yeah, basically, whenever you get a major item from a dungeon, its a good idea to leave and explore the overworld (thus getting the white sword early) and then come back to tackle the rest of the dungeon, fortified and stronger.

Ok I guess I should try again ... I didn't even get as far as obtatining the power rod yet in level 2 when I gave up, but I guess that'll be my goal now. I may not play for another day and I'll edit my thread here if I have any questions. Thanks you 2 😉
There are some pretty helpful Lost Isle videos at Youtube... some of them are from Level 2. You might want to check those out at some point... 😉
Littlelink91 WAS making a complete 100% video walkthrough of Lost Isle, but stopped almost a year ago after beating level 2 in the videos. He hasn't responded to PMs or other communications since. I think he's quit.

Ok with the help of the youtube videos I finally got past level 2 and have also found the candle, boomerang and white sword so far. I'm now trying level 3 and have played for almost an hour and I'm getting nowhere 😞

Level 3 isn't hard to find actually. It's in the norteastern corner of the island, and you can get there after you have beaten Level 2, which you have. So no special tricks nor items needed.
I can give you more specific directions if you have hard time finding the level. 😊

When I said "I'm trying level 3" it's because I found it already 😉
I've gotten a little farther and got 3 keys so far including that well hidden one, I even spelled out the kings name and went down and pushed that block but now I have no idea what to do. I seem to be going around in circles so I must have missed something, a bombabble wall maybe? Also how do I play this royal melody that everyone is talking about because I can't open the doors where the musical note is yet?

You have to learn the Royal Melody before you can use it... 😉 ...the melody can be found and learned somewhere from the 2nd floor.
But to help you more, there are a few keys on the eastern part of Floor 2. Have you found the one from where there's a room full of Armos statues? Touch the ones in the middle to wake them up and drop down to the hole that is revealed...

Yes I've used 2 keys and have 4 left (got 6 in all so far) at the moment but I'm having trouble seeing where to use the next key. I've only used 2 (of the 1st 3 keys I found) on that push block after spelling the kings name and at the start on the east side. I found the key with the armos already, one more on the roof outside and 1 more where you have to fall at the right place to go up and get another key in the chest. Then I got the map right after too. Did I miss any keys or anything else so far? I also don't know where to get the ladder which would help I'm sure, and about the royal melody, where do I learn that or go on the 2nd floor? I'm stumped.

Ok I found out where to use 3 more keys and I'm working on the 3rd floor now, let's see what happens.
... well enough for the next few hours, I have an outing to attend to so I'll be back in a few hours. In the meantime I have included an image at the link below showing you what I have and where I am in level 3. I still have no ladder or found what this royal harmony is supposed to be. I've also been to an ammunition room but don't know what to do there. I think I have all the keys I can get up to this point but I'm not sure. I've gotten as far as I can in this level and seem stuck again. If there's anything you can do to help I'll check back when I get home. Thanks Petoe 😊

Below are 2 pics of places I can't get to because there must be a way around them. The 1st pic I know can only be reached when I get the ladder since there is water to cross over in the basement. The 2nd pic I have no idea but both require me to step on a round trigger to let me pass. I must be blind because I must be missing something obvious and I want to use another key but can't find anything for the life of me

*update* oh no I found the big chest with the master key but I've run out of keys! I must be missing 2 since I already had the well hidden one and I need one more to unlock the chest, I think I know where it could be but I have to check it out first; maybe outdoors in that other cave with water blocking my way, I have the ladder now so let's try that out.
Nevermind I found another key where I had to cross over water where the grasps are, still going to try to find that cave again but I forgot which exit it was :/
yes, now don't forget, one of the keys to get with the ladder is in the cave leading to the beach outside the castle. Don't forget. The other two can be acquired with the ladder relatively high up in the castle. Floors 3 and above, I believe.

Alright well I just finished level 3 bosses pretty easily but do I still need that other key in the other cave leading to the beach and can I use that key in level 4 or is is pointless now?
BTW, very good quest so far, I almost quit at one point but now it's getting better and I hear level 4 is insane. Should I battle that or do something else 1st?
I would say go exploring....A LOT
and you now have the opportunity to get the best sword in the game, but its going to take a lot of exploring, lot of puzzle solving and a lot of fighting skill. Good luck! (hint: look for triforce pieces!)

Thanks, yeah I'm gonna do am lot of exploring as you say hehe. I need the blue armour first (or whatever it's called) so I'll start with that, then I'll explore until I can't anymore lol

Ok I already have a question, I'm in that ice castle (forgot the name) trying to get the blue armour and I've got the map + compass + master key but I can't find the orb I need to slash to get door after going up and taking the northwest door a couple screens from the entrance. I did notice there was a part in this place where I can go down a floor but it's surrounded by blocks in the shape of a rectangle so I'm stuck. Did I miss something?
I think you need to go one floor above, bomb the right wall somewhere and fall into a hole in the next room after slashing the crystal ball in that room you find. I know that is very vague directions, but I've hazy memory of that place. But look for a bombable wall on the right side of a room just one left and one floor up of the door you're probably trying to open.

wow after exploring a lot I got the first 5 triforce pieces now and some HC pieces, magic upgrades, magical boomerang, etc... time for sleep but I'll tray again in a day or so when I have some free time, level 4 is next but a bit more exploration first before that and I'll update this afterwards ... having fun now 😊
Nice to see how you're progressing. And it's a good thing you gave the quest another chanche... it gets better the further you get, doesn't it. ^_^
