It shows the item when you get the map. Also, I thought there was an intro to the level. Weird, it may be a bug, because it supposed to go up. Though, this is the first time I heard of this, so you may have just missed it. I don't know.

Oh right, I forgot it shows you that after the map. But yeah there was no intro.

EDIT: Ok after the 6th dungeon I need to go into Hyrule by that cave but the way that I think I need to go requires the Book of Flamo?? Or something like that. Any hints on where to get this? I already checked the library. Ok I also can't find the flippers, but I loved the 6th level.

You know how you got the blue mail? Play the ocarina at a Link statue, right? And that was in Autumn Town. There's two left - one in the Lost Woods and the other back at Palm Island. And the flippers? We'd never tell you where those are, because those aren't important yet!

Thanks. Ok but now I'm at the Link Statue in the Moblin Forest and I'm at the part with the broken bridge after I warped there from the flower patch. I've tried everything I could think of.

EDIT: Nevermind

Please tell me it isn't true.

According to a answer at PureZC: (http://www.purezc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23632&st=1260&p=309279&#entry309279) we mac users can't reach Season Isle. I began suspect that there might be trouble ahead when I first tried the raft from Autumn Town and ZC shut down. However I thought I found a way around this when I used the "flipper-warp" - but I can't seem to get onto the Isle even though I reached the small island with the sign that tells me to use the flippers.

Is there really no way around this? I loved the game so far and to be beaten by a bug seems terrible. Please?

Well I am not sure, I don't have a Mac, so I am not sure. So let me get this straight, there isn't a 2.10 version for Mac? Because, yeah I am against playing my quest on the betas because bugs may appear since the game wasn't for the betas; it was for 2.10.

Either way, you got the flippers you said. Which is weird because that would mean you rafted to Palm Island, which would have had that bug.... But I think as long as you have the flippers you may be okay. The warps in the water do take you to Season Isle. That small island is part of Season Isle, you just have to swim and dive where the waves meet and you are in.

But yeah, hopefully no other bugs are present. 😞

Hey Shoelace in Hyrule Castle, in the room where you have to swim into it from the screen right of the staircase entrance from the caves. There is a bookcase in the upper righthand corner that on the left tile you can actually swim into. Is that just an oversight or are you supposed to do something there? I've tried diving but that didn't work. Hope you know where I'm talking about.

There isn't anything there. Anyways, wow you made it to the 8th level. If you get past the chasing spikes and get the 4 keys in Hyrule Castle then you got past the hard part. A lot of people hate me because of the spike thing, so hopefully you can get through it and not hate me for it. >_<

Anyways, you are basically at the end. That's awesome. :P

The spike part was easy in my opinion but I'm having trouble on the push block puzzle for the right side of Hyrule Castle. The one where it has three blocks and the pads will turn into blocks if you aren't quick enough? I'm not really sure under what conditions they turn into the blocks so can you just tell me that. I don't want the answer on how to do it though.

Oh and I thought the chasing spike thing was one of the coolest things in this game. Great job!

If there is, I haven't found it. Of course I rather play on 2.10, but as a Mac user I'm very thankful to finally be able to play ZC at all...

No! Thought so too, but I found a way around that using the ocarina to warp.

Thanks! I hope so to, I REALLY want to finish this quest!

I think there is one more raft spot in the game, and hopefully it doesn't affect you Kompis. 😞 Because there would be no way around that one. But the raft warps to the left, so maybe it won't be a problem. I will cross my fingers because that would suck.

And Plissken, I was writing the answer and then I saw that you found it, so never mind. lol

Wow the way you made it how you got the key through the way of the push block puzzle I was talking about was genius. This is shaping up to be my favorite level. Now I got all four keys and am on my way to the 4th keyhole.

Yeah, see, I thought the 8th level was really good with puzzles. However, because of the difficultly of the level, no one liked it. But I liked the puzzles with the hammer in the cave floor, and the water/lava puzzles, etc. It took a long time to create they too, but oh well. But you are almost done, yays!

Yeah I thought those would take you a while. Well in my mind it was worth it because they are so great.

Let's hope so. I'm on my way through Season Isle now and keep getting impressed by your imagination.

It's strange though, the first raft ride from Palm Island (and the Zora raft game) worked fine. But I can't take the raft back to Palm Island or between Autumn Town and Season Isle (I guess that's the route?).

Crossed fingers here to.

Wow I'm having an extremely hard time on this boss. It's the 8th one and I'm at the part where he keeps warping me to a place where I outrun a platform collapsing into water. He now has a giant sword and he's kicking my butt. At this point should I still be using my hammer or should I turn to my sword? And how do I avoid him bringing down the giant sword when I'm attacking him?

Wow ok I'm at the part now where you have to use the magic wand on the mirrors and then it'll warp you back to fight him and he will not be affected at all now. No matter what I do nothing happens. I've gone through two things of blue potion for magic and I've finally ran out. This is near impossible because I've got all the magic upgrades...I think. And two blue potions with already full magic. Any tips?

EDIT; Woo hoo!!! I beat him finally. That was insanely hard and enjoyed it after I figured it out.

Man the 9th level is pretty challenging so far and I kept dieing and going up the whole way for like 3 times until I realized there was a shortcut with all of the locked doors. >_<

Just do me a favor and say last level and last boss so that there are no spoilers for others. :P You are almost there. :P

Not going to spoil anything but man the last boss is...the hardest thing ever. I've died 6times on him already. I'm kinda sick of trying but I really want to beat it. Any tips?

😛

Just watch his movements. Learn what he does in each stage. And of course, always bring full life and a full bottle of Potion. Use Nayru's Love when appropriate, too!!

Meh, but that's all pretty obvious.
Quests I'm currently playing: Isle of the Winds, End of Time, Hero of Dreams
Sweet.

Ah yes... this dreaded boss. Really really fun, too...
Anyhow, a few good ol' tricks to beat him:
-1) Be sure you have maxed magic, 1/2 magic cost, and Nayru's Love. You probably already have these, but just to make sure...
-2) When the boss does that line thing at you and you can't seem to get across in time, bomb yourself across. Tis better to take 1/2 heart damage than 4 hearts.

Haven't played against this boss in forever, so I can't get any more specific. But the bomb trick is practically required.

EDIT: And Pineconn beat me by a few seconds. But at least I have DIFFERENT info! ... well... at the least bomb part.

YES! Sorry Windstrike and Pineconn I bet that really would have helped but I beat him before I went to read your guy's posts. Just a matter of memorizing stuff. Thanks you so much for this awesome quest Shoelace!

Ending Stats:
Time-24 hours 29 minutes (yeah I'm slow as hell)
Deaths-118 (yeah I also suck)

Wow I can't wait if you ever make another quest. Simple amazing.

Can't wait? Just play through it again and see if you can get... for first redo, I'd say a good ol' sub 12 hours.

... 118 deaths, eh? Mayhaps that tricks/skills thread may help lower the count to say... 10 or less? 😊

Awesome, I am glad that you enjoyed the quest. I am making another quest entitled "The Eye of the Moon", however, it seems to be stalled yet again by beta 16c. So basically I am waiting for the next beta before I continue my progress on the game. So I am crossing my fingers on that being soon because I really want to jump into it. :P

And don't worry about the deaths, I still think that is good. Most people press quit-> continue so they won't have that many deaths. I usually have a lot of deaths because of carelessness. For example, I need to go to the beginning of the level, *Shoelace kills himself*, there I am there!

Yeah I make a lot of mistakes like that also. And I probably will playthrough it again now get a better time and death count.

Well, I hate to ask, and maybe it's a bug related to the ZC 2.10 itself. Sometimes, after beating a boss and getting to the point where Link talks to himself about the triforce piece, once the text is done... it just sits there. No amount of button pushing gets it to continue. It did it at the end of 2, so I started over. Got to the end of 1 and... again, stopped.

am I missing a button or something?\

EDIT: Oh, and nice idea on level 1 using copies of the level to make it appear like water was flooded and not. Only bug I saw was keese being mixed up with zol about 2 rooms up from the start.

What you do is, press down to get out of that screen. This was one of the only ways to get to the next screen because of ZC limitions. With 2.5 around the corner more things will be possible, but yeah, press a direction to continue to the next screen.

And thanks, I am glad you liked level 3.
