The end of the Windmill sidequest has the item called Nayru's Love. Which is the greatest item in the game. :P It will shield you from attacks for a brief moment. This is very helpful in 7th and 8th level. When you get to the Patra in the windmill, you should have made a shortcut to get there quicker.

Also, do you have the Magical Sword? If not, then go to the top left corner of Windy Peak, and talk to Randy. That is the sword you should fight the Patra with if you are not already. Hope that helps.

And thanks. I am glad the quest never gets boring. That was my goal. The only thing, is it gets frustrating at times and I hope to fix that in my next games. However, there isn't a game coming out for a while. My next one is EotM, with a 2007 release date. Most likely Summer/Fall.

hello (it is a great, quest , thanks you for this beautiful work .)

Until now, i passed all of the puzzle easily but I'm now in level 8 F1 on the left side there is two room. the rooms are very similar but one is dark. In the dark one, i can't push any block, in the other i can, but the door never open and i need the key behind this door : ) Is it the wrong way to get the key 1 screen up?

In the dark rooms, you need to burn the curtains with the fire boomerang. That will show you the way to the key. :P

>>If you are referring to the block you remove before going up the stairs to fight the darknuts, it returns whenever you 'continue'??? I had hoped it would stay gone, but it doesn't. About 3 times out of every 4, the two blocks in the way on the spike path won't disappear either. I just have to keep hitting 'continue', until they decide to go? <<<

Not sure I can last that long. 😉

I'm stuck on level 2 of HoD. I have the boss key and arrow, but no bow. I also have a key. I'm stuck at a shutter that I can't seem to open. This is the room with a path to the left and a path down, with the downward path surrounded by blocks. How do I open the shutter?

Sorry if this has already been answered, but there are a lot of pages on the thread.

This is like the most commonly asked question of HoD. From the "prison" go one screen left, one screen up. There is a shutter leading to the bow. To open the shutter, look at the right wall and floor boarders. There is a trigger inside the wall. You should be able to see it now. :P

Becky: 😞, well I will see what I can do about releasing it, but I am just being honest about the release date. It isn't anywhere near completion. But hopefully progress will go faster than excepted. (I am not working on it until the new version is released)

That's OK. I was kidding.
Would you read my last post again? I put some stuff in >>> <<<. Really isn't too important because I don't think I can get any further anyway, but just in case?

Thanks Shoelace I've now finished your quest .
The last Boss was quite hard but nothing can stop you if you are a real zelda master .: p
I hope you will make the next episode This one was one of the best I played .
I'm waiting for your next quest : )

Hey, I am glad you enjoyed my game! Hopefully my next quests will be better than this game. Anyways, could you do me a favor Josk? Can you edit your post and erase the name of the last level boss. I try not to spoil things like that for people as it makes a twist. Thanks. :P

Also, Becky, you asked me to end your last post again. And I don't see what you wanted me to read. What is your question? 😕

I was referring to that block... I thought I made that block stay gone... Well that is a bug in my part, didn't know I did that. Sorry about that. Well, my advice is just try to get there with as my hearts as you can (The HCP locations are in my walkthough at PureZC), make sure you have the red tunic (Go to the suit shop northwest part of Hyrule), and bring two potions (even if you don't need them). Maybe you don't have the red tunic yet. That could be it. Anyways, hopefully that helps.

No, I don't have the red suit. I'll try that. Haven't been back since I gave the 3 suits he gave me to their owners. Thanks for the info.

Well, that sure was easy. I now have the red coat, but still don't know why I am having such a time with those two blocks that have to move so I can get thru the rest of the maze by the spikes. I just got to them 4 times and couldn't get them to move??? Is there a secret to the 'order' you have to move the blocks to trap those two spikes? I figured I had tried every combination, but I can't figure out what i am doing different when they don't move.

Which side quests do you want to know about bluedeath? I use a lot of boss flags (events) in my side quests if that is what you meant. In 2.11 it much easier and 10 times faster. You just have to use room carryovers. For example, have the person say make it rain in the desert. When you go to the desert and make it rain make the room carryover trigger the screen back at the house where the guy is. It will trigger Direct warps, that will now make him say something else or do something else. Like give you a HCP. Hope that helps.

Becky: I thought you got past that part and got to the patra??? Well, the way I made it, it seems like you can't get through it without getting hit. I know that you need to come in from the right entrance to push the blocks. But again, the blocks should have been open if you had already done it. Hmm.

I did get to the Patra, but like I said, nothing saves. Every time I get killed and hit "continue', I end up at the door just inside the Windmill. Then I go down and hit the switch that changes color and removes some blocks. Those block STAY REMOVED, even after I have to "continue". After that, there are 2 more blocks that have to be removed before I can get into the last two aisles of spikes. Those come back after every continue also.

Those two blocks have been a problem from the beginning. I have had to "quit" and "continue" several times, every time, before I could get them to disappear for several days now. I tried it 4 times earlier today and then went back and tried it 3 more times tonight. The blocks stayed all 7 times. All 7 times I "blocked" 2 of the spikes, just like I did in the times I got the blocks to disappear, so I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

Actually, I have only been as far as the Patra twice. 3 more times, I got as far as the Darknuts. All the rest of the time, I could not get those two blocks to disappear so I could finish the maze.

Sorry to be such a bother. I just don't know what i am doing wrong.

Wait if the block is gone, then didn't it save the path? Couldn't you go straight through it? Can you show me a picture of the area that is not working if not? Maybe that will help me.

I'm most of the way though level 4 now, but I seem to be missing a key. Is there a key that people usually can't find?

In that level you are going to have to tell me what items you got and what key you just got so I know where you are at. So do you have the Ocarina yet? And what door are you trying to open? I need details so I can pinpoint where you are. Thanks. :P

I tried "Take a snapshot" but nothing happens?

The only blocks that stay gone are the first 2 that disappear after you hit the light. All of the others come back each time. (The first 2 do come back also if you "Quit", or "Reset", but they stay gone if you "Continue"😉

After you remove the first two to get in the maze, there are 2 more that have to be removed to finish the maze. They seldom go away. Then there is the final one that your can easily remove before you go up the stairs. None of the last 3 stay gone. They always come back when you "Continue".

Sure wish I knew how to put a screenshot in here.

To take a screen shot you press F12. Then go to the ZC folder that your program is in, and it should have the picture in the folder.

Anyways, what I am confused about is that even in testing I will still able to get through the "maze". You still should be able to get to the Patra even whether or not the blocks are there. I really wish I could figure out what the problem is, I don't see it at all. And this is the first time anyone has had trouble with this. Well, people had trouble with the Windmill but not the blocks... By the way, what version are you using? Are you using anything besides 2.10?

NEAT! Now I just have to find an address for it. I will try to find a Free Web Site, but it may take me awhile. There are 6 pictures of the same thing. I just didn't know what they were. :googly:

I am using 2.10

Okay, well I don't see the problem of the blocks being not there, or disappeared...

Hmm... Anyways, let me tell you how to solve the puzzle from what you have in the picture. You already pushed one block in the right place. The far left one, push up to the switch. The bottom one needs to go right to its switch. And the middle one needs to be pushed to the right to that switch. There should be one lone switch (The bottom left one), and you have to step on it, to make the path open. Try that again, and if that doesn't work take a picture of all of the blocks on the switchs and you standing on the last one.

*crosses fingers*

These are after a "continue".
Screen before the one I have problems with:

Problem screen: (Standing on the only 2 blocks I can get to)

What in the heck am I doing wrong? Now I can't get the 2 blocks to disappear no matter how many times I try. BTW, the few times I did get them gone, I only moved the one at the bottom right, 2 spaces?

I thought I had to step on one of the 2 free switches also, but I can walk over them as often as I like and nothing happens.

I have the Ocarina, and I'm trying to open the locked door that's one screen below the top-right corner.

Becky: In the pictures, why didn't you push the blocks on the switches? Push all of the blocks on the switches (I mentioned how to do this in the previous post). And the only switch left will be the bottom left. Stand on that one after you had done this. This is so it makes the effect that all of the switches are pushed down at the same time. If it doesn't work then take a picture of that! Those pictures that you showed me, didn't show any problem other then the blocks not being on the triggers.

TheBestGamer: Ah, okay, thanks. There are two keys that you get in any order. Not sure which one you got. So I will say both of them. Anyways, go to the very bottom right Flip Room and make the brown blocks go down. Return towards the entrance. The warp right before entrance has the path to one key. After taking the warp head down and you should get to the miniboss with the key. The other one is when you follow the path up from the entrance (You have to arrow the statues to open the shutter). It will lead to the bottom left corner for the key.

I got thru! The odd thing is, every time I did get those 2 blocks to disappear, I didn't have the blocks on those 2 switches, so I thought the idea was to trap the spikes. 😞

Thanks so much for all of your help. The Red Suit sure helped. I really wanted to get thru this one. Later I will try the boss of Level 7, but don't know what to do about those light bars. That was as far as I got.

Basically for the light bar part, you have to dodge them and hit the main one with a hammer. They give you time to run for cover by the way. :P

im stuck in the 3rd dungeon, i saw the guy who said i can bomb walls that dont have cracks but ive tried to bomb everything i can. i cant seem to figure out where to go. i cant seem to find the master key adn i cantr hit teh crystal. the blue aNnd other color blocks on 2 diffretn rooms are up and i cant seem to figure out how what to do next. any hints??
