daffeedil:
The dust pile is for effect. Just there as junk. The glasses take the place of the amulet. Which allows you to see invisible enemies.
Level 2 is a burned tree. It's one of the stand alone trees near where you got the glasses.
Fox of the wind: There IS a walk tru wall on the top wall.
Just discovered ZC a few days ago, and this is the first custom quest I've played. Really good so far. Only complaint is that there's a bit too much block pushing in some of the dungeons; having to push four blocks across an entire room gets rather annoying the 10th time you have to do it.
Anyway, the place I'm stuck right now is in Level 5. I might be short a key, since I have none when I bring the crystal to the greedy critter that always wants them. What confused me was that I had a key only a minute earlier, and I didn't remember using it. I reset the game and figured out where it went- the chest that has the crystal took it, even though it was in a big chest (that I had thought only needed the big key). Is that supposed to happen, and I'm just missing a key? If so, I probably need that key map, since I've been to every room in the level. If it's a bug, is there any way to get around it?
Yes, that was supposed to happen.
You probably are missing a key.
I have to recreate the map for you. I would like to send it to you but you aren't allowing any emails or Private messages.
I really would not like to post it here.
BTW: There was another fix made after the 12/31 update but the Data base has nobody controling it so you have to go to
HERE->http://purezc.com/index.php?page=quests&id=125
to get the most updated version.
Sorry, used to private messages on forums being enabled by default. Just grabbed the latest version from that link, and I'll give it a try tonight. If the new version has one more key than the version currently in the QDB, I guess I only need to know the location of the added key.
If you've been to every room. The added key was placed in a room with red darknuts. Go back through, because you may have overlooked something obvious.
If not, you will be able to come back and finish it later if you want.
Although, it may disrupt the story line a little. Won't effect the game play though.
If you still want the map I will PM it to you.
I'm missing something really obvious now. I found the cave in the Graveyard, but I'm assuming I need at least the third sword to get through it. I guess I need to find the Reservoir cave in Skree, but nothing I've burned, pounded, or slashed seems to be the entrance. So what am I missing?
And just out of curiosity, what is that thing you pick up in the island hut? I think that's what lets you carry more than 255 rupees, but I can't tell what it's supposed to be. For anyone else still playing through the quest, as soon as you finish level 6 (or even before you finish it and just have the items), get the money increase and save up 450 for the Fire Boomerang. It's quite nice.
You just haven't burned the correct thing yet. At the reservoir ther are two pires, one on the bottom left and one on the top right. Try one of those.
As for the money increase. It's a purse.
I must be missing another something obvious in level 7. I can't seem to get past the first few rooms. None of the items I have work on either of the colored blocks, and none of the other walls seem to have hidden doors. I have one extra key, but haven't found any locks for it yet. Is there an item I missed before going into level 7?
The items you need are both in this dungeon.
The blue blocks are effected by the wand(as was in Link's Retirement 1) and the red blocks require the lv2 braclet.
So what other way is there out of the first few rooms? As far as I know, I've tried going through every wall. All that's left is a staircase behind an orange block, and a treasure chest behind a blue block.
Did you bomb the north wall that the treasure chest is in?
Probably not. I think I only tried the walls in the room next to it. And since when did you stop marking the walls that can be bombed? That's just evil.
I must have missed that one. :googly:
Oops!😃
So now that I've tried blowing up every wall I find, and even some other stuff in the middles of rooms, I'm at another dead end. I can see two or three small chests, one large chest, and a big key door, none of which I can reach. I also found a lantern/brazier/thing that I can't reach, but which looks pretty suspicious. I think I've reached all the rooms on the first floor (at least that I can get to so far, I think 18 total), but only about 5 rooms on the second floor.
Upon reaching the 2nd floor, you will find that you need to find the wand. (I hope you already have the book).
There is something special about the room with the boss door. Start pushing stuff.
Once you find the wand(and have the book, I hope) everything should fall into place.
Small hint: some of those chests only hold money.
Dunno how I missed that block. I think my only problem now is that I'm missing a key. The only room I haven't been in is the room directly south of Aquamentus, but I haven't found a way there. If that room doesn't have a key in it, I may need a complete list/map to figure out which one I missed.
If it's the room I think, you need to find a way in.
The entrance is a walk thru.
I thought I had tried the walls on all three sides, but I'll try them again. The room to the north had Aquamentus in it, and there is no room to the east, unless there are multiple unmapped rooms leading to it. I think it's 4 rooms up from the bottom in the just-right-of-center column.
Yes. Find the entrance to that room.
There are a couple of hidden rooms in this dungeon. Only 2 I think.
Just want to start by saying: excellent quest! 😃
Now on to my problem... I'm stuck in lvl 7, floor 2. I managed to get the map, but haven't found the wand or bracelet. The map shows I found all the rooms on floor 1, and the upper 10 rooms on floor 2.
I'm stuck at this point because I'm out of keys and can't for the life of me figure out where I missed one. Any clues would be appreciated so I can get on with the business of kicking myself for not figuring it out for myself!
thanks!
Look for a pushable statue on the 2nd floor that might lead you to a key that you might be missing.
Extreme decorative quest and it's a great idea to have Zelda as playable character.
However i found it way too hard. I got to the lvl2 without oo much problem, but it's annoying that those hardly avoidable wall masters put me to entrance!
So I have stopped it there. However I'd love to see snow village....
Thanks, but I think I found that one. I sent you a PM (hope you don't mind) with details on where I found keys in level 7... now I REALLY think I overlooked something major somewhere along the line! My brain hurts :googly: LOL
I sent you a PM. I think you did.
THANKS! I got the key and Zelda's marching along again. I'm glad it wasn't tooooo obvious, so I won't kick myself too hard. 😊
thanks again,

Np. Glad you found it.
I cannot find the super bomb for level 4.
the old lady who gives me the tip doesnt respond to shrooming, booming, arrowing, slashing or harsh language.
any further hints?
You have to buy it in a shop in one of the towns. Can't remember offhand which town, though. Check the one right by Level 4 first, then work backwards.

Back in the Mountain Village, you can buy super bombs.
