I appreciate your responses to my queries�however, I�m not sure we�re on the same page.

Here�s where I�m at. Upon entering level 7, there�s a walkthrough wall which renders a key. Returning from there, moving one screen north, there is the room with a treasure chest (small one) blocked by a blue tile in the center and regular tiles as well. Proceeding one screen right using the aforementioned key is a room where the map can be seen blocked by a greenish tile and regular tiles and where one can reveal a path to another key chamber.

I tried pushing all of the tiles in that room. Nothing. Also, I don�t see any cracked floor.

You missed a bombed wall. North wall in the room with the chest.

If I go up there is a stairway that once you go thru and beat everything you get a bomb but you are stuck in the room. The walls don't bomb
you can't push thru them and you can't push the blocks to go back the way you came.

Yeah. Is this a "joke room" rocksfan, or is there a way back out again?

No. There's a walkthrough wall on the north wall. You just need to push through the wall at the right spot.

Great quest, Rocksfan! I'm really enjoying it, and it's great to have Zelda as a playable character.

I just finished level 4, and I think I'm the first person to have trouble finding level 5. *chuckle* What basic part of the map should I be looking in?

Snow Viilage. There is a cavern behind the frozen waterfall.

Thanks, Rocksfan! I'm in there now. I kept trying to light the torch along the way instead of pushing it, so I figured out where my mistake had to be when you named a village I hadn't reached already. Nice tricky bit there! 😃

i'm stuck in level2 and i already searched all over this thread to find help, but theres none.
its the room where you get to, if you go right from the first room with doors from the start. this one with green blobs or whatever they are and blue hands that want to catch me. not really a room its more like a passage because of walls destinating the way. so i go in left, kill all enemies wonder, why the door on the right doesnt open and bomb the wall on the upper side first.
so, what am i missing, how opens this door? no key, no torch, no trigger...... O.o'

You need to kill ALL the enemies in the room. Including the little gels.

The little things that those "blobs" turn into when you hit them.

yes, maybe i dont see all the tricks in this game, but im not that dumb to think, i just dont have to kill the small ones:tongue: ... so i killed them all and still the door doesnt open... 😕 :scared: plz, help

It should. If you've killed everything, including the wall masters(hands), the door will open.

What version of ZC are you using?

ah thanks, this answers my questions, i thought, the wall masters would come out of the wall endlessly 😃

Hmm... I'm stuck in level 8. I can't find the lens of truth and I don't have any keys for the 2 locked doors that I can get to. Highest I can get to is floor three. I saw mention of a room with black octorocks, but I haven't been able to find it. So I'm wondering if I've missed a key somewhere. I have two dead ends that I can get to. The first is a hallway filled with red bats and a locked door, and the second is a room with a black floor and white wizrobes and a locked door.

EDIT: Nevermind. I found the path I was missing. That was a tricky one.

Yes. Level 8 is very tricky. Level 9 is better!

I am having trouble getting through level 3. I have the same problem that was in posts 9, 135 & 375, but they all seemed to work out the problem.

Specifically, I can reach only the following rooms: 1st floor, which is shaped like a triangle facing down, top row-4 rooms to the left, next row two rooms to the right and third row, the middle room. 2nd floor, which is two triangles, on the one on the bottom facing up, i reached the lower left 3 rooms, the next row up, the left two rooms and the top room, I have not accessed the other triangle. In the lower left room of the 2nd floor, is a block that requires the master key which I have not found. The room immediately to the right of that has a gold block that I cannot remove (I have the blue candle, should I have the red?). On the 1st floor, top row 2nd room from the left, I need a key to go down which I have not found.

My inventory includes the raft, ladder, magic shield, glasses, 3/4 heart pieces, blue boomerang, bombs, bow and arrow, blue candle, red potion and a super bomb. I believe I have tried everything but I can't go on.

You need the red candle to burn the gold blocks, just like in LR1. It is in this dungeon.

The boss key is very close to that room that you refered to here.

Once you get that candle, eerything will fall into place.

I cannot locate the red candle. I have searched the dungeon thoroughly. I suspected that was the problem and have been searching everywhere for it! Please tell me where it is.

Very close by. Finding that Boss key will solve your problems.

In the lower left room of the 2nd floor, is a block that requires the master key which I have not found. The room immediately to the right of that has a gold block

got it! Duh! I was sure I bombed that block, guess not.

I have gone through all of level 7 twice and I still cannot find the key I need to open the chest with the crystal in it. The only room that I think is suspcious is on the second floor, the area at the bottom of the V, the upper left of the 4 rooms, there is a statue whose eye is circleing. Is there anything in this room other than the stairs? Is there any other rooms not shown on the map except for the one that leads you to the chest with the crystal? Is there anything in the room on the first floor that has the unlightable torch (other than the key which was obtained from the other entrance)? Any particularly difficult keys to find?

The torch is lit with the wand and book. You need to find a key to get that chest open. It contains not the crystal but somkething else. The bottom of that "V" is key.

That particular torch will not light, I have tried many times. I realize I need a key, that is what I have been looking for. If that chest does not contain the crystal, where is it, I have been to every room in level 7 (except the last two) and cannot find it.

Hoping that I could get the lens to help in level 7, I have tried to get through level 8. I have gotten stuck there too at the same place that Ryoko11 (post 407) and peachstar (post 274) did. They seemed to figure out the "trick", but I cannot, please help.

I see what you are refering to.

Yes. Check the statue. When you find the key you need, it'll open up some of the dungeon for you.

I am having trouble in lvl 3. I dead end in a room with a gold block that needs a red candle on the second floor.

I suspect that a previous room with 2 cracked blocks holds another path that I need to take, but bombs won't blow them up, nor will they move.

Do I need super bombs? and where can I find them?
