There are walk thru walls in this quest. I believe this is what you are over looking, judging by where you say you've been. 2 rooms that you haven't been in are accessed by walk thru.

I am likely overlooking something blatantly obvious, but I can't locate level 4. any hints? Is it in or around the wasteland?

Found level 4. Now where in the blue blazes did you put those super bombs? Do I need to blow up one of those holes in the wasteland? Even just a general area where they are would be greatly appreciated.

I have something of a problem in level 5. I'm at the final locked door, but I have no key. I've been to every room and I think the door in the entry room might have eaten two keys, but I'm not entirely certain. Any help?

I certainly hope it didn't. If it did, you're gonna have a problem. At least until you come closer to the end. There is a part of the quest where it is possible to buy keys.

As for the possibilty of being short a key, can you give me screen shots of your map so I can see where you have been and, if you remember, which ones gave you keys. It'll make it easier for me to help you.

sadly, no. I can say I've been to every room shown on the map besides the boss room and triforce room. Unless there's something hidden in those two places not on the map on floors 1 and 2, I think I'm stuck until the place where keys can be bought. How long until that occurs?

I think I'll just come back to level 5 later.

hello
i'm in level8 and I can see the lens of truth but can't find a way to it.
also need 2 keys .some help please.

😮dd: Are you refering to post #431? If so, elise gave a hint from me to it right afterward.

Otherwise, I am totally confused on what you're asking.😮dd:

Just the one room. I had walked all around that silly room, trying to get to the lense. Then I tried it without lighting the candle and I figured it out... I thought it had to do with the candle... later I discovered I was just in the wrong spot all around and walking around in the dark helped break the pattern.

I like this game, with most zelda games you get all the items and then you can't really use them because the game is over. In this game you get most of the big items and there is still a monster level nine to beat... I call that fun... back to that game. Currently I'm traversing on the fifth level, I've just got the key and I'm trying to figure out what the clue is regarding the wall master room... or more appropriatly how to make the secret bridge appear. I'm thinking I need the siler arrow, but how to find it... back to that quest

Wow, I just finished the quest. That was great... the wind robes were difficult / frustrating. The puzzles were thought provoking. Thanks for your help and for making this quest.

I'm loving this game so far. But I seem to be stuck. I'm at Lake Shore and I found the passage under the burned tree behind the big tree. And at the end of this passage is the front of a house, with door... but I can't go in. I even tried killing everything in the passage, but the door won't open for me. Am I missing something? I was thinking this might have been the way to the raft.

A key. Go back one screen, defeat everything and push the rock.

Aaaah... 😃 Man, I've played Zelda almost constantly since it's release, I've gotten soft in knowing EVERY secret of the game, I didn't realize how so. I just need to get my adventuring skillz back. Thanks alot.

This may be a dunce question, but I seem to be stuck on Level 5. On the 2nd floor, there's a room with two movable blocks, a raised area in the upper right corner with two doors (The room above this one is the room with the large gap with 2 bubbles and 6 Lionels and blocks obviously designed fro a hookshot).

I just can't figure out the pattern of the blocks. I found all the spaces the blocks can move too, but none of them are opening the door or revieling a secret. Some help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I seem to be the latest victim of the dissapearing key in Level 5. I thought for sure I had plenty then after getting the Hookshot I noticed I had none. Now I don't have a key to get to the Crystal.

I heard others on this thread say they had to borrow keys from other levels, but won't that just leave you sans a key later in that level? What should I do? I've got the Hookshot, adn assuming there's no other treasure in 5, I could go on to do the other levels, but that leaves me not having that Peice of the Triforce. What should I do?

Where did you get this version of the quest? Here or PureZC?

If I remember correctly, Pure has the imfamous missing key update version.
I believe the key was under a pot.
If you have that one, you might be missing a secret somewhere. How much of level 5 have you explored?

I can't really remember where I got it. It might have been PureZC, because I remember the Quest Database here seemed to be down. I just checked the "Quest Info" and it says my version of Zelda's Quest is 2.10 if that helps.

Drats... this probably means I'll need to start a new quest with the correct version. Bah... Oh well... It should be a little easier the second time around since I'll know some of the secrets that I was stumped at and had to figure out....

Anyway, loving this game. Its the first custom ZC game I've played and you've perfectly captured the feelings I loved of the classic. I'll definitly go back after this and play the other "Link's Retirement" games.

No just wait till you get an answere from rocky , I am gonna ask him on my forum ( he can't get here during the day ) 😉

You won't need to start all over again. Could you explain everywhere you have and haven't been in level 5 so I can determine if I need another update for this quest.
