I am not sure what room you are talking about, but if it is the room shown in the screenshot below, that chest cannot be opened until you get the flippers. It only has 200 rupees in it anyways. To get the boss key, you are going to need three normal keys. From the entrance, go downstairs, south, south, west (through the top left door), west, south, south, east, south, east through the locked door, shoot the statue in the bottom right corner with an arrow, use the last two keys, and go north. Manuever around the traps and go down the stairs to get the Boss Key.

If that room you're talking about is the room with the BLOCK lock, the blue hands and the other locked door I seem to be a key short. I have looked effin EVERYWHERE though 😞

EDIT: I seem to be one key short, the key for the door itself, I took care of the block itself.

Also I wanted to state that I've been having an absolute BLAST with this quest so far pineconn, 5 stars all the way!

Oh, and should I have the second sword by level 4? I can't seem to find it. :shakeno:

I'm willing to bet you missed this key:

From the entrance, go down the stairs, down twice, lower left, and down three more times. Bomb the western wall.

If you got this key already, then... just say so, and I'll list every key that you might possibly be missing. But I'm 80% sure you are missing this key.

For the second sword... haha, yeah, you should have it. Warp back to Hestone Mountain. Go all the way to the right (about 4 screens) and into the clouds ("Heavens Trail" is the area's name). It's pretty linear from here.

If that room you bomb the west wall in has a red skull thing that causes you to be incapable of swinging the sword until you die then yes I already got that one (with the stairs in the corner that are blocked off)

I know it's been a while since playing LttH now (half a year), but I have a little suggestion about the quest (I came to the idea while reading the discussion about lv. 4):

But first: Do I remember correctly that you get the blue armor before entering level 4?

If yes, then I didn't get it back then and beat lv. 4 without it. It was hard, but not impossible (died ca. 5 times at the end boss). Personally, I didn't find it much different from lv.3 or 5 (regarding difficulty), so my suggestion: Give access to the blue armor after lv. 4 (maybe in the next update, if you want to)! IMO that would make the quest a little harder thus more interesting. (I really enjoyed it anyways).

Thankfully I found the blue armor before I went snooping around through level 4, the sword on the other hand is a different story. 😎

I went back through level 4 a few times and I still cannot find the last key to the room with the arrow shot statue and the block and the locked door (need one more). Can anyone think of one I've missed? (Already have the one where you bomb the west wall)

Well... I honestly didn't want my quest to be too hard. The last thing I wanted was for my quest to be discouraging for newcomers because they would die so often. I tried to find a happy medium by balancing puzzle-oriented (Levels 7 and 9) areas with action-oriented areas (Zora's Training Ground and Level 8 in a way... Level 8 still had its puzzles).

Okay, we're gonna get through Level 4. Other remaining key locations:

Right before the boss door (in room 66)
Past the room with the whistle pads and pots (in room 63)
(And... well... that should be it.)

Level 7 actually WAS discouraging 😃

For example, the red room is 14, the green room is 75.

I downloaded the game the day before and it's just awesome (the game... AND the difficulty :/ I hate darknuts... I HATE THEM).
But now i'm stuck and just tired to travel in all the overworld map to find the way to level 4. Where am i supposed to go to kick ass of the next boss ?

There's a red bush you have to burn in southern Hyrule Field. It's pretty close to the western exit of Narajo Town, I believe. Anyway, make your way through the Volcanic Wasteland and the Snowy Plateau (and its cave system) to get to Level 4. You'll need a super bomb or two. Make sure you get the Blue Tunic in a cave in the Snowy Plateau. (And hopefully you have the second sword, too.)

Awsome quest!

i'm having problems thou. The first dungeon to get all those keys.
well i got the one fromt he man in the swamp, and the two in the chests in the swamp and i got past the block the door and the door in the room with the spikes, i still need one more can you help me find it?

Ah thank you thats tricky lol
i'll keep my eyes open for more tricks like that thank you.😎

Ok i failed again lol, i got to the part of lv2 where you have those floor spikes and the swich and the blocks to walk on to get to the locked door. (i assume the room to get the boss key) i can't thhrow the boomerrang at the swich is there a wall i need to bomb or a magic boomerang i need in the overworld?

You should be able to hit that switch. Stand on the top-right square of floor, face to the right (facing directly into the first block), and throw the boomerang diagonally at the switch. It should hit it.

To get the boss key in the third dungeon do you use the boomerrang or is their an easyier way then running.

I went back to rooms 63 and 66 and for some reason I have gotten all of those keys. Yet I am still one short. Is this a bug or will I have to start a new one :\

How do I get past the bushes on the cliff next to the blue house?

if you're talking about getting the sword theres a vine behind one of the houses you have to go up. What to do from there should be pretty simple.

pineconn is there anyway I can edit the quest to give myself an extra key? Im almost positive I have all of them.

Just to make sure you got those three keys...
1) from the entrance, go downstairs, south, south, east through the top door, north, downstairs, through the passage, west, downstairs, through the passage, north, east, south, downstairs, through the passage, east, south, kill the darknuts and get the key.

2) from the entrance, go downstairs, south, south, west through the bottom door, south, (you can open the chest to get the map), south, south, bomb the west wall and go through, and open the chest.

3) from #2, go east, south, slash the lower right pot, whistle three times, east, open the chest.
If you are sure you got those three, then did you use a key when you went to look for the sword?

I too think I am stuck. I am in Level 5, and have searched everywhere. I come to a lockblock with a chest behind it. I have been in all 3 entrances and have opened all doors except for the big key door(can't find the big key...thinking its may be in the chest beyond the lock block). What are the key locations for level 5?

Nevermind, found the key i needed...

Stuck at level 7; do I need the Lens before entering the dungeon? I've looked all over the world map (and found all the heart pieces and bomb bonuses and magic vials while doing so) and I can't find it. I've wandered all over level 7 and pushed every gravestone.

Does this have anything to do with the dungeon you pay 100 rupees to enter?
