I'm going to Hawaii tomorrow, and I won't be back until Tuesday the 28th. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

And while you're gone, we'll be busy converting this place into a forum devoted to Richard Dawkins. Mwahahahahahahaha!!! Just kiddin' - what the heck are you going to Hawaii for, anyway? Going to check up on Obama's birth certificate?

Life is getting weirder and weirder by the hour. There's not enough time to understand everything, so when do you give up on trying?

Why stop trying? Learning about weird stuff makes life interesting.

However, if by weirder and weirder, you mean humans and their behaviour in general, then I suggest you give up right now. There is NO way to explain the idiocy of the general population (and I don't think anyone on this site is part of that group).

Wow, I laughed so hard on that one. Basically, now that our kitchen is redone, the floors don't match. So to retain them, they need us out of the house, and they pay for 60% of the price. So we're going to Hawaii for the fun of it. 😊

Oh, and if you want my opinion on Richard Dawkins, I truly believe that he believes in God and hates God with a burning passion. Just my theory though.

Well then it's obvious that you haven't read his books.

What island are you going to? I've been to Kauai, Hawaii. Paul took me when Intel sent him there. We spent 11 days. It's beautiful. Very laid back and very calming. 😊

It guessed Jim Raynor, Ratchet (From Ratchet & Clank), Sarah Kerrigan, (I even said she was a Star early on.) and Doctor Manhattan correctly. (It even featured the dangly bits in the picture. D: WHY.) Then it got an SQL Error just when I was about to start to describe Duke from Starcraft.

I managed to stump it with Paul F. Tompkins. But it guessed some obscure people like Linetrap, Candlejack, and

Wow. Nobody appreciates a Candlej*** joke. I risked my life for nothing. D:<

We went to see a possible place for me, my mom, and my sister to rent today. It was okay. Damn, divorce sucks... Then again, I get loads of sympathy from my friends. I just wish we didn't have to get rid of all these animals. Including me cockatoo. 😞

Weird weather we're having here west of Portland, Oregon.

Monday - 81 (close to a record)

Tuesday - 83 (broke record - old record was 78)

Wednesday (today) - current temp at 12:26p (pacific) 55

I really hope we don't have a hot dry... LONG ASS... summer

Woo hoo, the weather is great outside here. High is gonna be like 82. It's also windy, so if I find the time, I might go fly a kite. The only drag is, the weather is warm, the grass is green, but we don't quite have leaves on the trees yet - they're still all just beginning to bud.

Oh. MY. GOSH.

I am so pissed. I took the wrong bus home today. I saw a bus about to leave the "docking" station for the 47, which goes pretty close to my house. So I RUSHED onto the bus, and didn't check the number, thinking it was the 47. ...Well, it wasn't. It was another bus that doesn't go to ANY terminus.

As a result I had to change busses several times and wait a long long time at a random intersection. I lost 2 hours trying to save 10 minutes.

>_<

The_Amaster wrote:Heh, at least you haven't waited for a bus that was an hour late in a blizzard. that was a fun day.

Been there, weathered that. ...wait...I think that was only a half an hour...But close enough,I guess.

...oh yeah... then there was that time I stood outside my local Toys R us for a solid 3 hours in the cold and snow to buy my Wii, but since I did that willingly, I guess it doesn't count.

So, yes, I know it's not fun. Standing around in the cold is no fun at all.

I finally got to ride my motorcycle out since February. We had a day in February that was almost 80 here in KC,MO area. Been way too cold at 6am to ride it to work until lately. This morning would've been great if it hadn't have been for the rain. Of course on the way home it was bright and shiny.

Also I have a guitar recital for the music school I go to on SAT. I'm going to rock out with my BACH out!! It's actually for a grade of sorts. If I do great, there's a better chance at me getting a scholarship again for next year.

Hopefully I got the right thread for random shi... Stuff. And I hope it doesn't sound like a twitterhead was here.

I remember that wait for Brawl. For five hours, we waited outside of that GameStop. I could not believe the number of Smash-related conversations there are to be told.

Then there was the time that I had to wait about three hours for a bus home, having arrived at the bus stop at about 11:45 in the evening. It was just me on that bus. ...

I'm sorry, but no game is worth 5 hours outside gamestop for that. Not to me, anyways.

The most I waited for any midnight release was 20 minutes out in the cold, and it's because I paid over 400 dollars to get the item I was waiting to be released. :\

I think the most I've ever waited in the cold for something was about 20 minutes for Best Buy to open for the day after Thanksgiving Sale. It was kind of funny actually. There were people tailgating in the parking lot with BBQ grills for food and heat. I got there I guess after all of the hot dogs must've been gone. I was standing in line to get the new HD-DVD players that were on sale that also came with 10 free HD movies. I'm sure everyone knows WHY they were on sale now, to get rid of them.

And that's why I hate BluRay, even if it does look great. I'd go into more of it, but then it'd belong in GB instead.

I did fall asleep once in my car in my driveway. It was freezing outside and I was so dead tired. I woke up colder than I have ever been. I got inside and couldn't get warm. When I breathed out, my breath was also cold (while I was inside). I stripped down and grabbed my robe and stood over a space heater to try and warm up, but couldn't. So I just jumped in bed and shivered myself to sleep. I didn't even get sick, which is kind of odd.

Lmfao, I walked into my Gamestop, grabbed a copy of Brawl and the guide (since it's a good game, always fun to have that extra), paid, and went out. Was in the store for maybe 5 minutes tops. You guys are doing it wrong.

I got my Brawl at GameCrazy, which is in the same building as our local Hollywood video, so the line just wound through the video store. It wasn't that bad.

HA! My best friend waited in line in the cold for 2 hours, and got his copy...and then his parents gave him a copy of the game as a surprise the same week.

:P He then passed me the extra copy as an early birthday gift. I had to wait zero hours. WHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Also, ST I loooove that avatar. I can practically imagine the metroid saying "plz don't squeeze meeeee mommy!!" in a small high pitched squeal, before samus gives it an affectionate squeeze, and it squeals in fear. XD
