ya know? As I too was going to bed last night... I thought about the posts I had read. Where had I gone wrong? What had I overlooked? Well, that Old Man on top of a mountain did come to mind (that I was suppose to hit in the head?). I found a couple bobbing heads out of mtns. I tried to hit them. But no sound, no goodies. Maybe I just hadn't found the right head to bop? lol So, when you get up and online today. If you could direct me to that old geezer I sure would appreciate it. I'm going to look for him again in the mean time. But.. just in case. 😉 Course...I guess I should do a edit-find to see if anyone else had trouble finding him. lol But... being the explorer I am--- I'm going to try myself first. 😃 And Elmensejero? Thanks for being so helpful. You are appreciated. I think we found the issue. lol

And there you go! Thank you so much for your help. I had been looking for that guy since last post! lol I just didn't think to back track that far. I guess I just gave all the other men poking their heads out major headaches...lolol. Well, I'm off to continue. Untill Pineconn stumps me again anyway. 😉 Have a good one! 😃

EDIT: Well, I made it all the way to L8. And I think that's it for me. Found another one of those disappearing walk ways but this time... there's a fan blowing! I guess I don't play enough or this guy is just coming up with new ways to throw us old cogers off the playing list.lolol The first one was bad enough. But this one? My nerves are shot! I'm shaking... and I have a headache. No game is worth that.

Pineconn. Usually I quit a game cause they made the enemies too hard (I'm not as much on fighting as I am on problem solving/finding things). This is the first game I liked because of it's puzzles... that I won't finish. You beat me dude (or dudette as the case may be 😉 ).
It was a great game up to this part though. I LOVED your puzzles. Your sense of humor. And your little acts of impish delight in your design. It really is a master piece. I'm just not good enough. 😞 But that doesn't mean I don't appreciate your talent. Good game.

Help! Where is the blue boomer?

And, BTW, thanks for the tip about the log, Elmensajero. I think I would have been there this time next year : )

The blue ("magic"😉 boomerang is in Level 4. Do you need more keys?

Take a gander at [this] vid. Check at how I do it. I don't want you to quit.

And at Earthbound_X... I mean, I could send you a new file... I really don't know why 2.10 wouldn't work since I recently upgraded to SP3 and it didn't affect 2.10 at all.

-Lita: Not much I can suggest to help out here, personally it took me a lot longer to get through that first disappearing floor room than the one your in now. 😃 You know, you could sort of "cheat" to get through it. The F4 key will pause your game while playing it. However, if you press it again, it will let ~1 frame go by and then it will pause it again. So you could use this to your advantage, holding an arrow key while pressing the F4 key to move Link during that frame. But I was able to get through it the same way Pineconn did in that video, though I am pretty sure I fell a few times before getting the key.

-Turquoisefrog: From the entrance of level 4, go downstairs, south, south, east through the top of the two doors on the right, north, downstairs, south, and east. Kill the goriyas in this room and chest for the magic boomerang should appear. If you need any help on getting keys or getting through puzzles along the way, just ask.

Elmensajero: Thanks so much for that 'cheat' hint. I'm not ashamed to say I used it...lol. Nor should I be ashamed (I guess) to say that it still left me shaking and panting for breath! lolol [I have anxiety issues.lol] But, got her done~! 😃 ( Oh, and I noticed we're from the same state. 😊 Carolina or Duke? lololol )

Pineconn: Thanks for the video hint. I 'did' try it a few times. But my nerves just couldn't take it. {I wonder if it's due to my 'reality/real' fear of falling? lol} Anyway, I'm going to try and plow through now to finish the game. Because as I said.. I do love it. You've done such a good job with things I've never seen before. Going back to my other games were boring in comparison. 😉 Keep your fingers crossed and say me a little prayer. 😉

Good, I am glad you are able to finish the game now. I discovered the usefulness of doing that after my tenth death on the final boss of the game even with 2 potions, lol. It is still my favorite boss, though. Oh, and how could you not mention NC State in that list?! (I just might be going their currently 😉)

I'm stuck in Level 5. I need a key to reach to boss key (the only thing left to do) but I can't find the last key! I found the one on er... "B2", and there's a staircase under the water in 36 (B1) that I can't reach because the water won't drain. It's in a room with like likes, some boomerang guys, two fireball launchers, and an evil zora in a small patch of water in the middle. Help?

The water won't drain in that room, but that doesn't mean you can't reach that staircase. Just dive. 😊

(It's room 35.)

Elmensajero: The reason I didn't mention NC State or even Wake.. is because I saw you lived in Raleigh. I figured you were either Duke or Carolina. lol That and well.. you know... there's that ever lasting feud between the two...lolol

So you going to NC State. Cool! I think all our schools are good ones here. N.C. is blessed in that. People love to give the tobacco companies a hard times these days (as well as smokers). But that tobacco money sure enabled our state to have a lot of resources you don't find just anywhere. Good medical, good schools etc. Recently I've had the chance to wander about. But there's just no place like home is there? lolol

I have continued with L8 in the game. But I've found myself wandering. lol Seems like I get sit down to get serious. And instead of continueing in a pattern I get lost in finding new rooms in new areas. So my map ( I usually draw maps to keep up) is a mess! lolol Just can't seem to stay focused or something. And now.. my latest puzzle or 'new thing to figure out' is the room where you bomb the crystal but can't make it to the blocks before they change! I know there has to be a trick. Or .. it's another 'red herring' of Pineconns to frustrate us!!!! lolol Anyway, it's slow going right now. I still havent' found any of the goodies yet. And you know? I think one thing is the music in that dungeon. It tends to put me 'on edge'. So I've taken to turning the music off the last couple times I've ventured in so I can think clearly...lol

Well, I've chatted enough. I just wanted to reply to your post on NC State. 😊

Dan Furst wrote:The water won't drain in that room, but that doesn't mean you can't reach that staircase. Just dive. 😊

I've tried that. Repeatedly. It there some other dive button than pressing A?

-Lita: Okay, the way Pineconn designed that room was so you would place a bomb on the switch, then get your hookshot and shoot just before the blocks go up so that when it reaches the second column of blocks they will be down, allowing you to reach the hookshot grab block on the far side of the room. However, it is a little easier if you use a superbomb and position yourself as close as possible to the right side of the room.

-hinsburg: No, that is the only way to dive. You should be able to dive down and move over the staircase while underwater to reach it. If it still is not working, what version of ZClassic are you using?

I got a question. In the cave in the fields of Hyrule, how do you get to the stairs with the 2 blocks? I already have the bow and arrow and beat the ghoma.

You'll need the Hookshot to cross that gap. For now, use a super bomb on the large rock north of the entrance to the cave in Hyrule Field.

In the cave on Snowy Plateu (the one where there's a huge treasure chest) I got to the room with the Aquamentus and found nothing...literally; did I miss something here, and if so, help please?? BTW, this quest is almost, if not better, than some Zeldas (from Nintendo); the only bad thing is the difficulty, it's suuuper hard! So far I would give it a 4, just 'cause of the difficulty 😊

Well then it would be a 3 considering Level 7...

But anyway, the item in this cave will make you very happy. Go back a room from the Aquamentus. Check the northern border of the screen. 😉

Got another question. I'm almost done with level 2. Where do I find the White Sword and is there a heart requirement to get it.

From level two, go right, and climb the mountain into the clouds. Follow the fairly linear path to find the white sword.

There is a bomb wall one room west of the dead-end (the Aquamentus). Check for cracks in the northern wall.

(Oops. That's a JPEG.)

im so dumb, i thought you needed another boss key to open the chest, but i had already found that room; thanks

Enter the level. Go to the right. Bomb the southern wall. Go outside and grab the key.

So, this is what, 20 people who have asked that now? 😊

It wasn't meant to be mean. I was just pointing out that almost everybody who plays gets stuck finding that key.

Alex-Link wrote:sorry; this game is kinda hard, but i do like it lol

The beautiful thing is that if you are ever stuck, you have a good community to ask for help.

(....Again, you might need help with Level 7. :mischief😊
