Go through them.
Link to the Heavens Released
Pineconn wrote:Trust me, it gets much better. I'm actually fairly disappointed at my early work in Link to the Heavens. :shrug:Sent the PM to you, mdonne01!
Got the key! Thanks so much. Onward I go!!!!
All right, so I guess I still could use some of my items.
A red Bubble will prevent you from using your sword.
An orange Bubble will prevent you from using your items (except sword).
A green Bubble will allow you to use your items (reverses the effect of the orange Bubble).
A blue Bubble will allow you to use your sword (reverses the effect of the red Bubble).
In other words, green and blue Bubbles are good. While red and orange Bubbles are bad, I sometimes require you to go through them. At one point I'll even make you go through both red AND orange Bubbles. =D
Got it.
Here's how I'm doing so far:
I've found every key on your list except on Floor 1 32. It looks like I'll have to bomb southern 22 to get it.
I have also found a key outside of the dungeon, at the NW corner of the top map. I hammered an old guy to get it.
Other than the Floor 2 boss and goal screens, I still haven't reached the following screens in Floor 1:
10, 11, 20, 21, and 22.
So what do I do now?
Sorry I'm so full of questions. I'm not the best Zelda player, but I try.

(Why do people go outside of dungeons? This is truly a question I have no answer for.)
That key is supposed to be for Level 7. When you completely finish Level 6 and go on to the Level 7 area, make sure that you have one key in your possession.

From the entrance of Level 6, go left, up, left, up, up, up the stairs to F2, right, up, up, left, up, left, and down the stairs to F1. You were correct about having to bomb the southern wall of 22.
I completely forgot about those stairs. Thanks for all that! :googly: I need to pay more attention to details.
Finally making progress in Lvl 7. I have one key left to get before the Boss Key. It is in B3, the NE corner. I've come down the stairs into B3, killed the bunnies and don't know what to do next.
Difficult to see down there in B3, but I think I've tried everything in my arsenal.
Can someone help me out? Feeling stupid right now...
It has been a while since I played this game, but I think you have to push half of one of the blocks in that room down after you kill the enemies in that room. Then the door should open up. (One of the wall panel message thingies inside level 7 mentions this).

I have tried pushing both blocks, in all directions. No luck...
Just tried it again... when you said half, I adjusted how I was pushing the block and it worked! Thanks.
I wish I had implemented more tricky puzzles like that. It sure was a pain to set that one room up, though...
uhm... ya ... whats the password? O_O
ryguy13 wrote:uhm... ya ... whats the password? O_ONo way >_> The author shouldn't tell you the password friend  That's kinda private. You'll understand when you make your own quest 😃
Don't open it with ZQuest. That's for editing it. There should be a program called zelda_w. Open that. create a new file, and press the "A" button (it is set to the left control button on the keyboard by default). Then, press it again, and choose the game file. Then press ok, and press enter to play it.
I already finish this game. My question is: What can I do now?
Download and play another. 😛
You are finished with this game as long as you have all heart and magic containers, the boots, and the Indigo Tunic.
Ok, thank you, I was thinking there are more items, because there are two empty slots below the Din's Fire.
Nope, those spaces are for Farore's Wind and Nayru's Love, which are not included in my quest. I thought I put that in LttH's text file... perhaps not.
I've been playing for the last week or so and I really this quest so far.😃
Ok, I think I've lost my mind. I just downloaded Link to the Heavens and I'm wandering around town and I can't pick up pots or bushes which I just figured out is not a glitch. I've found the blue house and climbed up the cliff on the ladder but I'm blocked by two bushes. So how do I get to the sword?
OK, duh, I found it.
I'm have a probelm in level 6.
I just got the hammer, but using it on the mole/faces things doesn't pound then down.
Is it because I'm using build 842?
ZC 2.10 won't work on my computer.
2.10.2 works with the ZC launcher.
Would it work on 2.10.2? If so, is there a way I can move my saves over to 2.10.2 from build 842?
Or am I just doing something wrong in level 6?
I have Windows XP. I think Zc 2.10 doesn't work because I have System pack 3, which I heard has something to do with Vista.
Yes, it doesn't work with the alphas. You would have to start all over again with 2.10.2. However, Pineconn might be able to send you the file starting at level 6 with the hammer.
Really? There no way to bring my saves over? bah...
I knew I should have been using 2.10.2...
I only didn't use it cause Link moves a little different in 2.10.2, and it kinda bugged me.
If anyone could send my a file starting alot level six, I'd be real happy.
Thanks
I'm in level three, I've gotten the compass and map and I've found the first key. I used it to unlock the block and now I'm in the room that is up, left, up left from the entrance. It has some the directional blocks. I get past the block and halfway up the log but can't get any farther. What is wrong?
After you go as far as you can go up the log, press right for a few seconds, then try going up again. The path kind of turns like that even though you can't see it. Hey, this question is like dejavu for some reason 😃
First off... WHAT a quest!!!!! Sometimes I'm laughing at you Pineconn! lolol At just how 'evil' and mischevious you are! Have your ears been burning??? 😉 Like the room where you follow the light (trying not to be too obvious). I laughed my butt off at you taking us around our a@@ to get to our elbow! lolol There's been many rooms like that. I can tell you really put a lot of time into this quest. And I for one apprecaite the hours of fun I've already had. Joking aside.. this quest is just awesome!
Okay, my problem. L7 of course. 😉 I did read through all the previous posts. I found your list of keys for L7. But in Room B1- 14? I use the lens. I see the path. But I can't figure out where a key is in that room. Top? Bottom? Anything to do with the spot the telepathic station is on? I can't get over there either. I am ONE key from the wand. (I think). And since I haven't gotten a key out of B1-14. I 'assume' it's the one from that room?
Help? lol
Lita wrote:I did read through all the previous posts.ALL of them? That's quite an achievement, given that there are 1500+ posts in this thread. Anyways, I think that you are close to the correct room given that you are in a room where you need the lens to get through, but telepathic station? I don't think there are any warp pads near the room you should be in, so I'll give directions from outside just in case you are in the wrong part of the dungeon. From the main entrance (but outside) go east, south, east, and push the grave to enter level 7. From here, go west, then north. Use the lens to follow the path inside the room. On the eastern wall, you see how the lens shows a big white square? Just go through it, and use the lens in the next room (this room is B1-14) to get to the chest.
oops... my bad. I was thinking room 14 was room 41. This room count thing is new to me (with this quest as a matter of fact). I thought that was cool though ---to be able to relay exactly what you were talking about verses trying to explain a room. Anyway... I'm still learning it I guess...lol. Got all dyslexic on you...lol
I couldn't figure out how to get over to the station that 'telepathically" tells you about the room (or a hint or whatever) in room 41. And because of this.. I guess I "assumed" to say 14 verses 41. Since I was having issues with getting over there. Even WITH the Lens. lol
But! That makes it even worse! Cause I've already got the key you directed me to. So why am I short a key? Could I have played the game wrong? Did I unlock a door I should not have yet? Is that possible in this game? I hope not since I did read you couldnt buy a key.
As to the reading the whole forum. Nolol I have not ready the whole forum I mis-wrote there I guess. I did an 'edit-find' on each page for hints. 😉 You know.. you want to learn about the wand you search each page for 'wand'. So in 'that' sense... I have done all the pages. I save forums like this to my computer so I don't have to go online each time I get into trouble (dial up 😞 lol ) And...Searching keeps me from being too much of a 'pest' to the quest maker, or their buddies that help them help others. 😉 Anyway, I know you know what I'm talking about... but sorry about that. 😉
So.. Im off to try and figure out if I opened a wrong door in the wrong order? Or if I just thought I had the 4 rooms (keys) he gave us to get to the wand. Too bad we cant tell if a door was a key door or not ...once it has been unlocked. lol Thanks for your help though. I appreciate you. 😊
EDIT: I did go back to those 4 places. And all the keys were 'got'. So I must have just opened a door I shouldn't have? Man!@ If this means I can't finish the game without restarting it... I don't know...lolol It's been a mind bender. lol I don't know if my nerves could take another round so soon! lololol
I'll play some more later. But I'm pretty sure I can't get anywhere else without a key, wand, or bracelet. 😞 But!~ I've ben 'so sure' before and got fooled. 😉
Well, the good news is that you can't open locked doors in the wrong order. So if you are sure you got the key outside of the dungeon (at the top of the mountain) and the 4 keys available before getting the wand inside the level, then you should be able to obtain the wand. If you didn't find a post detailing exactly how to get the wand, I'll check tomorrow and tell you where it is. If we still can't figure out where you went missing a key, Pineconn placed a "backup key" somewhere in the game, so he can tell you where it is. Also, I can open up the quest and see where all the locked doors are, so we will be able to figure out which ones you opened up. As for now, I am going to bed, but after my one class tomorrow is finished, I will check back here to help.
Oh, and I definitely don't consider anyone a pest, it's kind of fun to help people out, although I can understand what you mean 😉
