Random blurry picture from inside the helicopter. I spent the day with MedFlight in February and had a very slow day. The weather sucked so we were grounded most of the day. We had one run five minutes before I was supposed to leave. Turned out to be an awesome run with some massive trauma. Oh and that's en route to get the patient.

So there's this girl I meet about three or four years ago. She's cute and is working to become a firefighter/paramedic like me. We hit it off but it kind of flops and we go our separate ways. Fast forward to tonight. She sends me an IM out of nowhere as I'm getting ready to head to bed. She's a FF1/Emt-B about to take her state test to become a FF2 or professional firefighter.
Four years and we have more in common now than ever before. SAWEET!

I haven't even lived in Delaware county a year and I just got a jury duty summons. Luckily my friend is minutes from the court house so I can park at her place and it's only a 15 minute drive to court.

Actually, that title wasn't appropriate for my last profile pic, either. Shoot, I can't even remember when I had an avatar for which that title was appropriate. To be completely honest, I pretty much forgot my custom title even existed after I set it.

Just found out I have herpes, yes from my ex who has now decided not to become a nun, she's started interperting the bible and she thought I needed to know that she had herpes, that and she refused to let me go to class today because she was having me fast or something and we're sort of back together. She's insane but I can't keep away, my life is a mess, and I'm on the verge of flunking out of school.
Fuck, dude, that totally sucks giant balls. What is this bullshit about not letting you go to class? Who is she to make you "fast" or whatever? Look, you probably care about her, and maybe she provides whatever stability you need right now (though I can't imagine it's too much given how nutty she sounds), but if you're going to flunk out of school, you can't miss class because your girlfriend is weird. She should know this and you can probably find some way of keeping her and still going to class. Lots of people do.
