That's the problem i've been having, I can't get to the south west side of the second floor. I go up the stairs and then i seem to go in circles. Is there a secret path, a bombed door, what I am I missing?

thanks for hint about the hookshot Rocksfan - but maybe I am too dense I still cannot find the boss key - found the walkthru on the 2nd floor but it also leads me in circles. Refering to level 5 and the hookshot.
Rocksfan or mszeldalady can you send me a pm with the hint on how to get the hammer in level 6. I am at the same place Mszeldalady was. I see the chest but can't to it without the hammer.

Argh...Now I got the candle, but I am stuck at the top screen of Village Of Hyrule, after burning the tree, what do I do? Its where the 3 metal things are blocking a screen.

Rocksfan, I got stuck on ceiling of level 8 as well. On the third floor too. Kinda Sucked. Also is there a place i can get extra bombs 8 bombs isn't enough for level 8.
I tried again and got to the 4th floor, but when i died, it got stuck again. Rocksfan please help me out, i want to try and finish this awesome quest.
Ya I been stuck there a few times so i stopped playing 4 now, kinda hate been stuck in the walls .all in all great quest
where the hecks hill village if i knew where that was then i might have been able to solve the rest myself

Emillissauer: There is a bombs increase in level 8 on the 3rd floor.
franpa: Look in the Hills. You need the item from level 1 to continue past a certain area which leads there.

I have burned bushes, rocks, statues, and several townspeople trying to find the raft at the Lake Shore. I found two places where you can get a heart piece, but no raft. I'm really enjoying this quest, but I seem to be stuck.
I'm sure I'm just being dumb, but if someone could help, please?
Also, I completed dungeon 2, but I noticed I had missed about three rooms according to the map. Is this a bad thing? lol

Rocksfan, i finished lv 8 thanks for your help. I was curious, how many Heart containers can i have before i enter lv 9 because i am still missing one entire heart. I searched everywhere and can't find anymore. If i am missing them can you send me a pm with a list of all the Heart containers locations.
