I guess it's about time for a status report here:

I just have to say what an amazing turnout this time around! Wow, there is some seriously good looking quests here guys. Big thumbs up for everyone all around regardless of who wins in the end. This is going to be a tough one to crack! 😃

Mine will be finished today. Just some 40-something screens to go!

Went through the rest of the quests today. Whew...what a turnout! Currently there's only a few pending which is pretty good all things considered.

...And now I have some free time! Maybe I'll go grab a 17-hour energy and play through every quest with FPS set to 120!! (aka:zc-turbo edition) :tan:

There are a lot of good quests out there. I am glad as it makes the contest exciting. 😊

Heads up guys, it's been a rough couple months for me and my team at Talking Time, so our entry isn't quite ready yet. I don't want to leave you hanging if I can help it, so I'll see about finishing it before the deadline.

I just noticed I haven't posted my intent to participate in here. Is it too late to do so?

Quick question. The due date is today at midnight (as in, during the night between Monday and Tuesday), or tomorrow at 23:59 PM (night between Tuesday and Wednesday)? Also, on what timezone exactly?

That's too bad. I was looking forward to seeing a team quest from... team evil? (Team's need a team name) Maybe you can pull off finishing it in one day?
Everyone else: You've got until early Wednesday to finish. Better move it! There's no telling when on Wednesday so I'd suggest sooner than later.

I also plan on doing a final play-through of my entry tomorrow night if I have time, since I've been busy again with crap again.. bleh, otherwise oh well, I'll just make a hard (ergo better) version later. 😊

Don't make it perfect, Sylph, just get it done. You'll have the opportunity to correct mistakes while everybody works their way through the quests (and you'll have even more opportunity to fix mistakes in late dungeons).

I hate presenting a half-baked work, but I guess there's really no choice. I'll do my best to finish it before time runs out!

Nobody's even going to be awake at 12 GMT (I know I won't be) which is why I said if you can get it in early tomorrow it'd be fine. I really don't think anyone is going to mind at this point. 😊

Just ironing out a few game-breaking bugs I found, then I'm off to upload and submit. Hopefully I'm not too late...

Just wanted to say that I updated mine a few times yesterday. I'm still worried a bit about over-difficulty in level 9 particularly, but being the 5th quest and last level, I think that should be pretty tough. I guess I'll find out when people start to reach that point in playing.

And 18 competitors so far, nice turnout!

Okay, we're a little past the deadline now but I'm going to leave this thread open until [MENTION=42714]Gleeok[/MENTION] gives the okay, because I was under the impression that he was going to participate as well.

We won't put up the testing specifics right away, but expect them to somewhat follow [MENTION=38664]Dart Zaidyer[/MENTION] 's model of quality assurance:
enabled cheats/unpassworded quests [second is my suggestion]
no forced continue points [if a room traps you, you should be able to at least die, if not get back to the dungeon entrance]
and other such playflow guarantees

..I see Sylph managed to finished too.. neat-o. I guess I should post my 5th quest also then: http://filesmelt.com/dl/5th_Gleeok.qst I originally did it for fun and have basically been sitting on it for about 2 months, but people talked me into it, and I figured what the heck. I'll start a thread for it in a bit, but no hurry as I'd like for people to play other entries first before even trying this. From what I've seen so far it's a bit more difficult than than the average bear and I don't want to take a lot of time away from those quests, so please give those a go first. 😊

Also: Holy shit that's a lot of nuts! Great job everyone!
