The magic boomerang? You clearly entered Level 4 before completing Level 3....
Stray Sheep wrote:I got the rod, and 3 keys. But I can't find any closed door. Where shall I go to next?
Make your way to the room with Ghinis (ghosts) and the transporter that appears when you kill them. Take it. Go up three screens, right (take the upper door), right twice more, and up. Take the stairs.
anze00 wrote:What's the thing with rocks with smileys in narajo forest? What do they trigger? If you leave the screen and come back they are back in old place.
They made those skulls disappear so you could continue through the forest.
anze00 wrote:Another question. In lev 3 are any keys outside of dungeon that i should i pick up or are all the keys inside?
Nope. All keys for Level 3 are found inside the dungeon.
Thanks,Pineconn. I'm playing Lv8 now.
Pineconn wrote:The magic boomerang? You clearly entered Level 4 before completing Level 3....
I'm sorry. Was entering 4 before finishing 3 against the rules? I couldn't get thru 1 of the rooms in 3 without it.
As I said in my last post, I can't change the brightness on my computer and don't feel I can go further in 4 without being able to see the map.
I personally think that it is just fine to continue on to another dungeon if you get stuck in a previous one, but there are 2 caveats:
1) It is never necessary to do, from a game design standpoint.
2) You might use keys from a previous level in a later level, and then not be able to open locked doors in the previous level because there are unobtained keys in the later level! (That you never found.)
I beat this quest. Thank you for made great quest,Pineconn.
WOW! I finally got thru Level 4. Hopefully I wasn't supposed to have the flippers. There is a chest I couldn't get to.
It will probably take me several weeks to recover. 😉
If you're stressed out by Level 4... get ready for Level 7....
Also, yes, you need the flippers to get that chest.
Pineconn wrote:If you're stressed out by Level 4... get ready for Level 7....Also, yes, you need the flippers to get that chest.
I think my main problem with level 4 was, I had gotten a key, apparently didn't save, left the game, then when I went back, never looked in that chest again. Dumb huh?
When I finally figured it out in the new one I started, I went back to the last one and there it was.
I was in every room in level 4 and no flippers. Are they somewhere in the overworld? I thought I went over every inch of it.
BTW, I still haven't found that secret key. Luckily I didn't need it so far.
The flippers are in an upcoming dungeon. That chest contains rupees.
In level 8, on the fifth floor I believe, I came into a room where there are two white wizards, and everything I try to use to kill them doesn't seem to be working. Any hints? It's the room that is one down and one to the right of the entrance to the fifth floor.
Thanks!
You must reflect their magic back at them to kill them. You will obtain an item in level 8 that allows you to do this.
Well, I hate to admit it but I can't find Level 5. I got the hint about the rocks and the raft but can't find any rocks. The raft trips take me from the forest to the clouds with no rocks anywhere along the way. All I've gotten so far is a key in the clouds, and a path back to the mountains.
The lake is just northeast of the town. There are some docks in the Snowy Mountain, as you found. It's good that you found the key! 😊
Dan Furst wrote:The lake is just northeast of the town. There are some docks in the Snowy Mountain, as you found. It's good that you found the key! 😊
So would it be in the forest? If so, I don't know how to get to it. The only place I can get further in the forest I need to have the hookshot for. There are no lakes, except the one by the long house on the way to Level 4 and it doesn't have a dock.
There are docks for the 'Raft' in the Snowy Mountains? I didn't see any, and I have been thru it 4 times. Each time it just takes me back to the regular mountain. All I got in the Snowy Mountain was a key?
Yeah, there's actually a huge lake. From Link's house in Narajo, go left, down, down, right, right, and up. Lake!
You beat me.
In the eastern part of town, there is a gate that allows you to continue north to the lake. Check your map.
If you found a key in the clouds, then you must have found the "general area" containg docks that take you through the forest, snowy mountain, and northern graveyard.

I think I will go cry myself to sleep. I must be getting senile. I can't believe I forgot that dock. Must be....
Thank you.

Can I plead insanity? I have no idea why, but I was thinking of the 'clouds' as 'mountains' when I read that. I even went back to see if I could find raft docks in the clouds. 🙄
Obviously this hasn't been one of my better days so I guess I will go try to sleep it off.
How do you get to the cave in the Sparsi Desert after you get the cross?
You need to superbomb the large pile of bones that blocks your way to the cave.
You don't need a superbomb...a standard bomb will do the trick on those bones. Also, try bombing other sets of bones in the desert...
Help! I'm stuck in Level 6. I have the hammer and 2 keys, but can't find a locked door.
One of my problems is trying to get to the bombable wall on the upper left side of Level 1. A couple of rooms after I go from Lvl 2 to Lvl 1, I end up in a room that is just all black, and I get killed soon after entering. It should take me to the room where I have to bomb the wall? Trying to fall into the sandpits in that area doesn't take me anywhere either. I just lose life.
Then there are those things you usually shoot with an arrow, like an eye with lights traveling around it. No matter what I try, nothing happens.
I hate to keep asking for help, but I have been stuck for several days now and everytime I quit and save, I lose the map of the areas I've been to so have to start all over. I know that's normal but I wish someone could fix it so you could keep the map.
Thanks in andvance for any help.
hello...super cheater/noob here...so umm...if anyone can point me in a direction of a walkthrough or password for cheats, you'd be greatly thanked.

Did he get the boomerang in Hyrule Field?
bobrocks95 wrote:Did he get the boomerang in Hyrule Field?
gasp....but that's such a big place...where exactly would it be?...
EDIT:...oh....forget it....i killed the mess out of gohma, and that bitsh spat out the fire boomerang; thanks!!
EDIT x2:....soo umm...he's in the second dungeon and is in this room with these 2 spikey things going back and forth, and this other one going up and down. he says he forgot something, either that or he just sucks at getting past it. Also....can anyone give me a password for this amazing game?
Beckyj4: I know what's up with that dark room. I think you have the dark monitor, right? That room has three transparent layers over it, so that it looks very very dark, but still viewable. Since your monitor is not bright, you can't see it at all. Walk into the center of the room and use the candle. You will then see all of the spikes around you!
You will probably run into this problem in level 7 also. You might be able to turn off transparent layers in the options. (But only do it in rooms where it is very dark! You will need transparent layers in some places.)
The eye statues require a different type of arrow that you will find in level 6.

What? That wasn't supposed to happen. How exactly did you kill him?
russadwan wrote:What? That wasn't supposed to happen. How exactly did you kill him?
well, i walked into the room and saw that homo, i mean single eye...it stared at me like all women do...as i walked up to it to ask for some spare bombs, it closed its eye...i jumped back and pulled out my blade and cursed out the beast. As it walked back and forth, I slashed relentlessly and suddenly its eye opened again. I asked nicely once again, but yet it raised its arms and shot out blasts. I knew that it was time for this giant crab to die. I ran out of the room, and charged back in with my sword in hand and chopped the mess out of it. Than came out Zelda and she yelled out, "Oh Link!! You're so amazing!! I think I'll give you a gift!". With that, Link dropped his tunic and took out his 'kokori sword'. Zelda pulled off her glove and slapped him so hard, the Fierce Deity felt it. "NO! I meant that I will give you light arrows!". As Gohma heard this and became bored, at the word of arrow, she ran away. Link and Zelda stand close, staring at the running crab. Link laughs at the crab, and Zelda, at his "sword"

Does anyone know what to do after you get the gauntlets in the 2nd dungeon?
There are about 4 heavy pushblocks spread out around the dungeon. (They are darker brown.) They will net you keys and access to new rooms.
