I did not see that commando was an option until now. Not that I would pick it, but it is interesting.
I want some waffles but I gotta wait until after class tomorrow to go eat some. Why? Because I don't get paid until tomorrow and one of the girls in my class is going with me. A bunch of us will go out after class for something to eat and drinks or just a few of us.

Not to beat a dead horse with a stick here, but I have to ask one question about the whole Glenn the not so great thing. Whatever happened in the thread I made in that "suggestions" forum he made saying that there should be a vote to see if we wanted him retained as an Admin and that if we didn't he should, by his own policy, remove himself from power? I never got to see that as it was gone by the time I got home from work that night.
He basically said something along the lines of "having fun guys?" and was avoiding the question.

Waffles sound good but I just remembered something that sounds better. A massage. My doctor ordered massage therapy after my surgeries and those were awesome. Tonight in class I just randomly wanted a professional one.

I posted it right before I left for work because that was when this was going down, and before I left most of the replies were a solid, "Hey should STFU and GTFO" or similar.
I was just wondering if it was maybe saved somewhere I could perhaps review it, because I just love the pure unfiltered irony of a thread in Glenn's very own "Suggestion" forum where everyone is suggesting that he pack his shit up and leave.
I have a feeling that all of those threads were deleted when DD got control of the forums.

Ugh. Shittiest day of work evars.
So I wake up before my alarm at around 3:45 and try to find my uniform. I can't. So I'm panaking, trying to find the damn thing. In the end, I settle for a close approximation - dark trousers, navy blue shirt. Because I've been trying to find my uniform, I'm running behind, so I have to skip breakfast. And when I try to put my shoes on, the lace breaks on one of them. I literally have to make do with using the remains of the lace to tie the shoe together. (NB: This would actually work out, kinda making the shoe a slip-on kinda thing)
So I get to work a few minutes late, but meh. Nobody cares if it's a couple of minutes, so that's Ok. I get in, get on with my job as per normal, and... the fire alarm goes. Technically there should be a duty manager in the store at all times, but there wasn't, so out we all trundle at half six in the morning. It's bloody cold and thanks to store policy, we can't go back in for anything. Theories fly around that something's caught fire, but after half an hour, the fire brigade give us the all clear and we trundle back into work.
Then... my gun stops working. Well, we call it a gun, it's actually a handheld scanner, but whatever. The thing keeps acting like someone's pressing enter a hundered times. So I go to try and find a replacement, and there isn't one. All the other 'guns' are being used by other people. And having a 'gun' is kinda important. Which means that I can't do my system prompted counts, I can't do shrinkage and I can't add the SoH (Stock on Hand) that the system has missed.
And to top it all off, I leave half an hour late with even less work done then I normally do.
I'm gonna get such a bollocking tomorrow. 😞

I used to have it set on 100 posts per page, but this thread made me change it. I got tired of waiting 3 or 4 minuites for each page to load.

I have so much crap due for school, it's unbelievable. I spent almost the whole day today designing an interview report for Career Planning class. Well, even though the worst part is over, I still have tons to do. Including studying for 2 midterms.

I hear that we're gonna get Santa Ana winds here in SoCal soon. They might now be like Prr's hurricane winds, but they are annoying. It gets so hot and dry around here, it's like summer all over again.
Some of the local Kentucky/Ohio'ites got some pretty bad storms last night as well. I hope they mozey on down to New York. We need some rain. ... ... (By "Need" I mean want, and by "We" I mean I. SO I'm returning a movie I rented at blockbuster earlier today, and when I go to get another movie to rent, they person behind the counter tells me the disc isn't in the box. I'm like, what the fusk? I figured that my little brother watched when I wasn't home and forgot to put the disc back in. I probably should have checked it before leaving, but now I have to drive home and get the disc, then drive back. Fan-freaking-tastic. :sweat:
