Extremely off topic; Someone in the computer lab here just ripped a huge one, and I was the only one in the room to say "Bless you." Of course I realized all too late that it wasn't a sneeze.

I wonder who should be more embarrassed. Sucks to be the nice guy, huh. :-/

Didn't you know, ShadowTiger - a fart is simply your soul trying to escape your body through your ass.

Dang, now I want to try that on the next person I hear rip a big one, just to see how high I can crank the awkward-o-meter.

lol thanks. I did my fair share of chuckling in my seat as well.

Also, the Font Conference was pretty awesome. Wingdings looked like my old history teacher. Sounds like him too. ._O

Also, Rock_Nog, may I ask, what / who is your avatar, please? 😊

I haven't had a single post in the past two pages so I feel like I have to post now.

‰ <- That is a very strange character. Someone tell me what it means.

There's many more strange characters, like:

☺☻♥♦♣♠•◘○◙♂♀♪♫☼►◄↕‼▬↨↑↓→←∟↔▲ΦΘΩδ∞φε∩≡≥≤⌠⌡≈∙√ⁿ

Those aren't strange characters; their uses are all fairly obvious. What about these: ‰ ‡ † „ ƒ I'm rather fond of the one that looks like an F-hole. ƒƒ

Probably, like, Algebra 1… I think. And I only took that for half a year, and I was failing. This discussion is making me feel sooo intelligent, thanks.

You know how % means "percent", or "per hundred", and means 1/100? So 5% is 5/100, or .05? Well, means "per mille", or "per thousand," and means 1/1000. So 5 is 5/1000, or .005.

Exactly.

By the way, you could just paste the symbol into wikipedia to get to this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E2%80%B0

Same for the other ones:
