R.I.P Ashlie Nicole Stell

-Andrew, Chode"

Maybe someone logged into her account? *shrugs*

wait, so some of you think it's wrong of people to leave messages on a deceased person's myspace? is it really no different than paying respects to a grave? you have a person 6 feet under, unable to hear you (for obvious reasons), yet you still go to the grave every once in a while just in rememberance of the person...

dont be poking at these people for leaving messages like that on myspace, it'd basically be the same as ridiculing a person for going to a grave.

I guess you're right.

To DSS-Someone must of logged in for her, because she goes to my high school and died in a tragic car accident.

If I was in a car wreck, and something happened to me that reduced me to the state of a vegtable, I certainly wouldn't want to be kept alive past a certain reasonable point, and have told my parents this. In effect, if I am in a car wreck, and I get past that arbitrary point, I'm commiting suicide...I have, in effect, preemptively decided to take my own life based on a certain set of criteria. So while suicide might be a stupid thing to do in some cases, I would be very wary of going so far as to say that there is NO reason to commit suicide, and I do beleive that people have a right to their deaths, even if they have stupid reasons for doing so.

Note that this does NOT equal that I encourage people to take their own lives. But saying that it's flat out wrong except under X circumstances without considering all the possabilities I think is irresponsible.

That's the only understandable reason I see in committing suicide. Physical reasons like some people that are kept alive and have "problems."

Wow, so the article says we shouldn't blame a style/genre of music that implicitly and explicitly supports and glorifies sorrow, depression, and suicide? Myspace didn't kill the kid. Emo had a lot to do with it.

The purpose of emo music? For you to buy their CDs and then kill yourself.

Suicide is wrong. We had a kid from our school hang himself 2 years ago, and it tore his class to shreds. I'm as sad as the next guy when someone dies, but I have little sympathy for suicide. When a kid commits suicide, he/she makes the world miserable for everyone around them. Like some final pathetic cry for attention. Well good job kid, you got our attention, and now you're not around to enjoy it.

If you don't like how your friends are treating you, get new friends. If you think your life sucks, turn the My Chemical Romance the f*** off and try comparing your life to someone who doesn't have a family, house, or money. They don't have anything. And you're thinking about ending your life because, in your opinion, you think your life is beyond repair because "nobody loves you" or "nobody has a crush on you" or you aren't getting the attention you want? That's just stupid. Suicide is the ultimate act of selfishness.
