FINISHED!! Great quest, Freedom. Fun quest to play. Any more difficult and I would've given up, but I found finishing each level made me more determined to complete the game. 😃 The game layout of a single screen having multiple layers and many invisible passages almost made me crazy. I would have liked the lens to show walkthru walls and passages, as I spent lots of time looking for them. But oh, the acclomplishment felt when the way finally is found (like the maze to level 4). Overall, it took 27 hours and I died 53 times. Thanks for such a brain twister and time well spent, Freedom.
*and thanks Elise for all your help too*
chinostc,
Congrats, glad you enjoyed it.
Must not have been too hard, since you only died 53 times, I probably died a million times when I first played the original Legend of Zelda.
anyway... kept you out of trouble for 27 hours anyway 😉
 It must've took me YEARS to complete the original LOZ. Zelda got me into gaming. Back in those days Zelda was the first game of its kind that I played and we didn't have nice forums available with helpful people when we got stuck. 😊
got it thanks, I hadn't reentered a door that took me to the end. One question, is the lens of truth available after lvl 5. I don't want to miss it.
No I think after level 6 or 7
If you go back to the town and ships after each level and follow the clues you couldn't miss it 😉
pachadan -- the lens was available after level-6 -- finished it yesterday...
Elise/Freedom -- that last room before the boss in level-7 -- any hints... I can't move that fast.
Also, where can I find the large wallet?
thanks, and Freedom -- great quest... takes patience and determination... but, great quest.
there must be an item that you can use ,think it was almost the first you got in the quest 😉
the big wallet is in level 8
O.K. I must be a hopeless case. I have looked all over the LEFT side of the dungeon and I still can not find the BIG key. I found a locked treasure box on the far left side, but can't find a path to it. I have wasted a lot of keys and rupies on this level, and it is breaking the bank. I need help before I go broke, again.
on the second row left side find a place to headbang up
Hi, can anyone help me find the big wallet? I've got everything else in Lvl 8 and beat the boss. Also, do I need it to buy an armor upgrade (better than the red tunic) or is there a free one in lvl 9? thanks in advance
the armor........ I wouldn't buy it 😉
The wallet I send you a PM.......mmm you don't have pm so make that an Email
elsie,
got the mail, I'll give it a whirl. thanks
i can't solve level 5. i stuck going in circles on the conveyor belts. how does one get off? the boomerang sets some triggers. i'm stuck. twice i got off with hookshot. what am i missing.
Dlink -- try to use other things than the boomerang to set triggers so you can get off the conveyor with the hookshot. In some of the loops you can only get off in certain areas also.
thanks miguel and elise. i can now move on and off the belts more freely. the level 2 big prizes remain lost. the clue referred to the eyes. which eyes would those be and are they important?
They are very important you have to visit them
The map shows two open (spots) eyes
don't hurt your head to much while you try to :banghead:in to them 😉
thank you. i will try your hints. can i pick up the 3rd sword after this level?
The third sword you can get if you have 10 hearts
level 5 is the mosst fun i've had while playing zelda. solving this puzzle of triggers, traps, and conveyor belts was really neat and tough. are the next 4 levels better than this?
I'm in level five, and I've got the magic and the Mirror Shield, but I don't know what to do next.
Kairyu Start accepting you beat level 5 and you are now in level 6 😊
you can use your shield to open new ways
and do some more headbanging also on south walls
oh yes and show some muscle power try to move little statues
Oops. Yeah, level six. Sorry. Southern walls, you say? I'll try that.
Edit: I found the Red Tunic, but i'm still not sure where to go next. I've explored the bottom three rows of the map, and a few in the upper rows, if it's any help.
By the way, is anything supposed to happen if you push the upper right block in the cyclop's room?
the cyclop's room don't think so
did you on the most left room 3th row push the little statue
I could use hint in level 6. I can't find the map. I can't locate the mirror shield. There are only a few rooms up the left side and a few on the bottom left I can search. Any hints?
Elise: Yeah, I've filled out the bottom three rows, the entire right half, and one screen on the upper left, according to the map.
DLink: Are you killing all the enemies you meet? Some blocks can't be pushed until all enemies have been killed and/or only move in one direction. Also, try throwing your boomerang at suspicious walls. If it gets hidden...
Dlink on the rightside 3th row bump head and trigger the statue with an arrow from the rightside that will get you going on again 😊
Kairyu in the second row on the leftside push a little statue 😊
need your expert advice again, Elise. I can't find the bow! Where is it? 😊
I am no expert but did send you a PM 😉
Found it, thanks! I could have sworn I tried that statue before, though.
