Why aren't the links working. They haven't been working for more than a week now. Any help?
I just tried it and it was fine for me.

This is one of the mirrors and it did direct me to download the file. If there are other mirrors that aren't working let us know which ones so DD can make some changes.
Also, my site can be a mirror if we need more. I am now hosting the file so here is the link in case we want another mirror for the main site.
Rob777 wrote:First of all, I would like to thank everyone who was involved with creating this program and providing it to all of us. This is awesome. I just started messing with the tutoral. The one question I have is about the music. Is there any way to turn up the volume for the overworld music. All of my sound effects are loud, but the music is very low in the background. When I turn up my speakers, I can hear the music better, but then the sound effects are extremely loud. Sorry if that is a dumb question, but if anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks.
Well Rob, I can help you with some of that, and that is not a foolish question to ask. You should enter Zelda, go to Settings, then to Sound on the drop down menu. This should help solve the problem with your sound effects that are louder than music. So move the sliders on the certain settings below to your liking, and test them out:
BG Vol = Volume of Music/Themes SFX Vol = Volume of sound effects.
Just wanted to say thanks and I love this thing-😊

The mirror at gerudo.net posted by erm2003 doesn't seem to work (Granted, it's been almost two years since someone last posted in this topic), but the link at ermock.com seems to be fine.

I open Zquest and it errors immediately... any thoughts?

Thank you.
I haven't been to this site in a while, and I noticed that zeldaclassic.com is not functional and the download link at the beginning of this thread 404'd on me. is there a way I can get another link to 2.10? I have a machine running XP now and, if memory serves, 2.10 was the best version for XP that was stable.
thanks in advance. =)
Try http://armageddongames.net/zeldaclassic.
Yeah, it'd be nice if the ZC domain were fixed...

I seem to be having a problem with getting Zelda Classic to open. I am running Window's XP. Well what happens is that the screen flickers twice and then says that it has encountered a problem and must close down. Any help?
Hello. I've downloaded V2.10 and it works, but the problem is that everything is super fast. I think it can be fixed by doing something with the FPS but I'm not sure how exactly. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm using Vista.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just found the ZCLauncher and it works perfectly.
Hi, been a while since I've been here!
NEway, my first time downloading and installing ZC of any version in a long time. And now, on Windows Vista, it just won't behave. Trying to run in DOS, it claims full-screen mode isn't supported. Trying to run in Windows, it just stops working in full-screen (I am running as admin.). Running windowed DOES work...but from the fresh install, as soon as I save the first file or try to run it, it claims it can't find 1st.exe - a problem that is new to me. I must be missing something...
Cyclone
Thanks! Can you explain all of these builds and which one might be what I'm looking for?
Also, would the Allegro from these builds work with 2.10 if there are quests specific to that version, or earlier versions?
EDIT: Looks like I got 2.10 working in Windowed mode! However, I can't do a thing with it in Fullscreen, I'm limited to a window. Any ideas?
Cyclone
Well the general idea is that you use the newest one and if there are any buys post them in the bug forum.
It might do, I'm not sure how much our version of Allegro's changed since 2.10.
Not really, sorry.
I can't get Zelda Classic to run. Everytime I click on it, it doesn't come up.
😕thanks for 2.10 only one question?!
how do you download it?!?!?😕
I downloaded it but can open it. 😞 Do i have to pay ? 40 free trial?
I cant get bombs or my sword to shoot? this is in 2.10TEST

any luck on the bombs, i cant even use them, ive even gone to the editor and put maximum to 8 but i still cant even get my supply to go past zero
Yes ,I tried that after I posted and it worked, but didn't have time to reedit my post again because I had to go to work. Now hopefully the player will work in the same manner. In theory it should, but knowing my luck, i'm not gonna hold my breath.
Seems like everyone is happy. I am too, now that I can work on my quests in the new version now without worrying about all the upgrading crud. Hopefully, the team can help address the bugs in this version. A new version that is 98% bug free would be great
I downloaded 1.90 and that's the closest I've been to a working ZC in ages (I'm on Windows 7 now), but the joystick won't configure. Anyone else ever have that problem? I'm searched high and low and did not find any similar issues.
