you have to buy it, it's quite expensive. Try swamp island shop, there are a bit cheaper ones but only later in the game.

Roar, I need the wand to beat Aquarius, I started going through it, and I find out, and its like ROAR...anyway, I guess I'll do the Snow Island...humm...haven't played in a few days, JEEZ.
The wand is at a LEVEL 3. It can be hard to get. Make sure you have that white sword too...Then get the hammer....Better get alot bomb upgrades as you'll need them. The Hammer can make level 5 much easier.
I've tried but I can't access some rooms on the right side of the map for Level 3 to get the wand. Is that what I need to activate those diamond swithces? Anyway if anyone knows how to lead me to the wand I'd apprciate it very much.
Also the windmill near the beginning of the game....how do I get past those blocks in the middle to get to the other side? :confuse2:
you can't access the windmill at this point. The windmill dungeon will find you. Trust me. 😉

1 thru 8, and stuck in the Dome, any clues as to the letter?

dome what is the next step and where might one look for that secret area spoken about in the beginning of this forum by the author?

What a pity for you! Go look to town island and go into the purple roof house closest to the heart container piece you had to burn a tree to get too. You should have SEEN it in the beginning of the game. You can't get because you need the letter for you to buy it. Along with cheaper red potions. Your gonna have to beat Master dome. If your really stuck then buy keys on Volcano island. Hope you aren't playing in 2.10 though because I think I heard someone found a glitch in the Patra room that's worse than A B C. If you lose to the master dome boss you'll end up in the corner again. Save before Patra if this happens.
If the 2.10 "Patra2" glitch is like the one in 1.84, Patra2 is unbeatable because one of the little Patras that move around it is "missing", you can't reach it with your sword because it's out of screen. And you'll need to kill it to get the Letter.
No. no. not that. It's almost exactly like the Dungeon A B and C stuck in the wall glitch. If you save in the Patra room...your supposed to end up in the corner in the patra's room. This is the worst glitch. But if you save in the master dome. You should be fine but you gotta avoid those batrobes and windrobes.
Anyway, I was stuck in the top left of the screen because the Patra2 was unbeatable. 😛

Will this ever end? How many keys are needed in Master Dome? Now that this is done and 8 is history, Master Dome is history, how do I get into Level 9 where the three duck vanes
are and blowing the whistle reveals the hammer pegs?

big problem in hammer level:
i am unable to get the boss key.
i tried to wand the prism, from the right like the walkthrough said (which i consulted afetr trying everything), bomb, whistle, arrow, slash, candle and boomerang it but the blocks dont give way, and i cant get the key.
any ideas?

got around that problem above, but im stuck in lvl 6 now...
i got to the boss, but not the cross.
i dont get the clue for the maze either.
i guess it would be easier with the cross, but al live found was a tunnel entrance that only shows with the lens, which i cant enter though.
any tips please?
the cross, mmm ... try to get to the top right (well almost top right) room and use the lens (or look at the floor). bring a bomb.

This is such a fun quest, DFW.
I am trying to beat the 2 yellow wizzrobes in Level B and I read something about deflecting wand fire and mirrors, but there aren't any mirrors, only two Gannon statues. Am I missing something here? Also, could somebody please give me a hint about where the golden arrow? Is it in one of the dungeons? Thanks in advance.
songrose, you need the mirror shield (found in level B!!!) to beat those 2 mirror wizzrobes. There is a room with one mirrorrobe and lots of mirrors, that is the boss. You can only beat the 2 you are talking about afterwards. As for the golden arrow, it is in the room where you first meet the most annoying enemy of the game (assuming you do the master dome after all other levels).

Thanks, koopa. By any chance, have you done a customized room by room map for Level B (your map of Level A was very helpful to me)? I keep going in circles and end up in the room with the 2 wizzrobes. I used the lens, but I can't find any walkthroughs or walls to bomb. The only other room I could move forward in, it seems, is the one requiring the golden arrow. Thanks!
the white sword is in waterfall island right? is it in level 5, or in its own dungeon?
It's in its own cave. Look for the triangle.
And blow the whistle on it to access the cave.
songrose, nothing requires the golden arrow in the quest (but it comes in useful in master dome). As for level B,

boss: 1 mirror wizzrobe (easy), get him to fire into a mirror and escape
to the top of the room. Wait for him to step into his own fire.
item: Mirror shield
As usual either use beta 1.83 or DO NOT SAVE after getting the item!!!. Most people end up stuck at the mini-boss (marked *, those 2 wizzrobes) but you need to beat the boss (**) first (1 mirror wizzrobe, in a mirror room - make him fire into a mirror).
I think it's warp W4 to get to the boss. If you are still stuck, tell me which room.

but now i just reckognized that my letter is gone.
i reloaded the savegame, but no letter.
i HAVE completed the master dome, and that map-looking item that was no map was at the end.
but now its gone.
could it be, that lvl 9 map somehow overruled the letter (same spot or so) and the letter is now lost to me?

If you have a full jar or red potion, it might be under that. If
so when you enter the witch's home it should show up
no, it shouldn't. He will have to drink his potions until they are gone and then the letter will show up. Thankfully, she sells a 20 rupee red potion to make up for the loss. 😉
