I'm probably not going to be getting this mobile game. It's what, $10? Yeah, sorry Nintendo, not interested.
I'm sure plenty of people who WERE Mario fans back in the day who don't have a Wii U or 3DS may be interested though. Who knows? More of Nintendo's tactical marketing towards people who don't love them best. :laughing:

I always thought they should go Mario 3 style and have World 1 for free and World 2, 3, ... etc for $1 a piece. I still wouldn't buy it. I don't buy things.

I bought it. It has quite a bit to it, and I've wasted $10 on a lot worse things.
You get to play the first 3 levels and then 20 seconds of level 4 for free.
If my cheap ass phone had more memory, maybe I'd try it...otherwise no. I'll stick to Miitomo and Pokemon Go (once my phone decides it wants to update it anyway...) for my Toilet Time Wasters.

Wait wait, you really only get 3.5 levels for $10?? What is some of the gameplay like? From what I saw it's just a few multiple routes to get coins (go normal route or wall jump up to second route).

You almost get all of the first world.
They just took the endless runner formula but it does feel fresh as they did put their own spin on it. Watch some game play, got to be out there by now.
Download the trial, it's fantastic. Unfortunately I'm broke as shit and will be for the next 3 years or so so I can't justify purchasing it.
Well see if the always online DRM is cracked. In the meantime, people are going to be PISSED about data usage.

And data usage? Other than the game download itself, there isn't much in the way of size of traffic going on there.

60 megs an hour could be a lot I guess, we have 15gb on a plan with 4 phones and never come close.
Even 2 hours a day every day is less than 4 gigs, and that's assuming I don't have wifi anywhere I play it.
It's not the data that bothers me. I'm unlimited anyways. It's just the DRM. Seems like a shitty way to prevent piracy that will most likely be cracked sooner or later anyways. As is always the case, the DRM harms the true customers, not the Pirates.
