It's possible with scripting to make the hookshot diagonal. But the head is refusing to grab a hold of hookshot grab combos. 😞
edit: You know, I just think the developers should to print out hookshot code and burn it.

Found out why, it appears the hookshot code only checks up down left and right when it comes to combos. If it weren't for the backwards compatibility rule I would attempt to fix it myself. :-/
