Mega Man 5 could have been the best Mega Man game on the NES if it had better robot master weapons. Just my opinion, though.

power stone did kinda suck, and I'd expect more fire out of Napalm man. Charge kick and Gravity hold were at least interesting.
I think the only weapons I ever got use outside of Robot Master use, were Gyro Man and Crystal Man's weapons. The former for its directional control (vertically anyway) and the latter for being about as strong as a charged buster shot, with the added ability to ricochet if the shot misses (albeit for less damage potential).
