Who's getting one?

Should be getting mine by the end of the week. I'm in the beta test group, so I get to use firmware spoofing and region free.

If your 3ds still happens to be on 4.5 or lower, don't update noobs. Alternately, you can still buy them with older firmware. (I'm going to get a 4.5 Red 3DS XL from Best Buy today.)

Hmmm.... That page just gave me virus warnings.... What's the difference between this gateway 3ds and the 3ds I already have?

It's a flash cart for the 3DS supposedly able to play 3DS ROM backups. I couldn't tell you if(or how well) it works because I don't have one(or a 3DS). Seems region free playing, spoofing, and homebrew loading are in the works.

Ah, ok... So, nothing I'd have any interest in. Nothing against homebrews or hacks, I'd just rather play them on my PC than my 3ds

Region Free and Spoofing future firmware already works. AGN used to be so full of pirates, what happened?

Got a new 3ds XL today before the exploit is patched and ordered a couple Gateways(which I'm getting for free, hard to explain.)

I'm pumped, now I'm willing to take my old 3ds to work. 😊

I've heard about this, I want one pretty badly if I had one I could save so much on 3ds games... :P
But I already updated my 3ds to the version 6.0 something... <.<

Well, not fully if it's still in beta.

I'm a mad pirate. I just don't have a 3DS. Though it's about time. (I have a 2 year rule.) I need a new laptop and a car first, though.

I am not interesting in this. Cuz it is just crap. Few reasons.

1. Won't support for update
2. Price is too high.

Oh! Yes Nintendo is getting better at locking down their systems. You can believe someone will eventually crack it. It's just a question of how long.

I'm sure it won't take to long, its all a matter of time.
