Okay not much of a game but whatever. Basically just post links to songs that you link together because of similarities. I don't mean covers or anything like that. Say you heard such and such song and it's chorus sounds just like such and such song from years back. Preferably the newer song first linking to older songs. If you link more than two great. Let me give an example.
Metal Riffs:
Du Hast's characteristic riff bears a striking resemblance to...
->
Just One Fix which at the end you hear pretty much what opens...
->
South of Heaven
Got it?
On and on south of heaven! Heh, I haven't heard that shit since Jr.High. 😉
Anyway,
On and on.... Don't cross the crooked step

[edit] Updated to Portnoy Studio version.
Just to be clear I don't mean that you have to link to the previous post. That just sounds complicated.
Anyway I made this post because (I was drunk) I keep hearing Gold on the Ceiling...
and it just makes me think of Gimme Shelter

Yeahbut.. How is it a forum game then? :P
Don't ask me why I posted this here. I did so after getting sauced at the bowling alley for my birthday. I don't usually post drunk but when
I do its usually in the wrong forum.
