This is a new RC5 bug, as it doesn't appear in RC4.
Using the ladder can be used to walk on water undefinitely.
Just take a quest with "water" combos and a screen where you can use the ladder - use the ladder and just keep walking. Link can walk through an entire water screen this way.
This bug is potentially game breaking since it may allow you to access areas you're not supposed to reach yet.
