In ZC, players who blow on the whistle may notice something interesting and slightly alarming.
When the whirlwind reaches the other end of the screen and disappears, for a split second, it is replaced with a flashing flame sprite. I would like to note that this *DOES* happen in the original game, and is not a ZC Bug.
Thank you.
is the flame the next sprite in line on the page? I can't check, right now (separate ZC/ZQ computer and Internet computer), but I'm assuming -- if it is the candle flame and not the lit-torches flame -- if you move the flame sprites to a different spot you could have a final whirlwind tile... maybe a spiral of upward wind shaped differently than the whirl. does that make sense? anybody feel like exploring that?
No, I do not believe so. Again, this is something that occurs in the actual NES game as well. TBH, I'm not entirely sure it occurs in ZC, but I seem to remember seeing so. So, just a note that this isn't a bug: just NES consistency.
