Here, I discovered numerous problems with traps being spawned by the spawner FFC script. If it is line of sight, then here's the case:
If if moves down or right, it would turn around upon hitting a solid combo, then instead of returning to its position, it would move off the screen.
If it moves up or left, it would get stuck in the top-left corner of the screen upon hitting a solid combo.
If it is constant, then the trap would always move vertically, even if it is set to horizontal movement or 4-way movement.
Traps spawned by FFC Script
Just to clarify things, here's the FFC script that spawns enemies:
ffc script Spawner
{
void run(int ID)
{
Waitframes(4);
npc n = CreateNPCAt(ID, this->X, this->Y);
n->Dir = DIR_DOWN;
}
}Fixed.
About Constant traps - if you explicitly set their Dir to DIR_DOWN or DIR_UP with a script, they will move vertically regardless of their initial setting. So, that isn't really a bug.
EDIT: Okay, so removing that Direction variable from the script just solved my problem.
