Like likes can grab a player inside a doorway before they are fully in the room which then renders all weapons useless forcing the player to quit to get out of the like like.

I know one way to fix this problem... Apply the NES Fix rule 'Link can use weapons on edge of screen'!😛

The only thing I can think of would be to allow weapons on the edge of the screen regardless of the enablement of any rule only if link is inside a like like.

people would then stand in the doors and kill everything off making the game far too simple.
I did my own work around by placing "no enemy" flags in rooms at the doors where like likes are present

no, but then neither are most of the things being added to the channel log as "fixed", like enlarging windows, instead of things like bugs that crash ya.
still no focus or direction around here on what is important, so might as well fix the chickenshit too.

I'll have you know sir that I take ZQuest's interface seriously and have taken great pains to ensure that it is as professional as my individual efforts can make it.

These things have to be done at some point.

...Bug fixed.

Look, I know arbitary, seemingly nondeterministic crashes are severe day-ruiners, but that doesn't mean everything else we're doing alongside trying to fix them can just be liberally dissed with no thought for our feelings.

I've put a lot of effort into getting him worked up franpa, why do you want him to calm down?

while larger windows are nice, they do little to add to the stability of the program, and the program is the most unstable that I've ever seen it.
It does "weird shit" on a daily basis that defies explanation, and therefore can't really even be reported as bugs.
One time something works, the next time it doesn't.
It's like a dike with a thousand holes
Then when you add to that the fact (as pointed out on another thread) that there is no documentation available for all these new additions that brought it to this point, virtually making many of them unusable in a quest..... what was the point again?

I'm trying to help L make it "as professional as (his) individual efforts can make it" by pointing out the fact that more and bigger isn't better when what's already there fails to work properly.
Putting a $10,000 paint job on a caddy still isn't going to get you where you're going if the engine is blown.

What the fuck is a whisp ring?

Look Freedom: We know there some issues with possible Allegro hangs, Header corruption, Enemy/Item editor corruption, and save file corruption. These certainly have to be dealt with before 2.5. However there is also the "chicken shit" bugs, as you put it, that have to get fixed also. The reason these seemingly get dealt with faster is because the former issues are much much harder to track down. They are all going to have to be addressed anyway regardless of what order they get fixed. _L_ is a good guy, I don't know why you want to antagonize him so much. I like to needle him too but there is a difference between good natured jokes in the spirit of fun and just being a prick. _L_ is doing a great job with the current state of zc.

I didn't know robots had any feelings? 😛

L is also the one that kept ignoring everyone when he was adding all this shit way to fast to possibly keep any kind of control over bugs, now the program is like an onion with bugs that reach the core.
Now it's YEARS later and the program is more unstable than it was at 210.
and L still don't get it.

If a doctor removes a bullet from a man and saves his life, should the man then be expected to forget that it was the doctor that shot him in the first place?

I'm days away from releasing my quest, so I'll stop being a "prick" and leave it all with you shortly, I promise ;O)
