Thanks. Go ahead and post in this thread from now on:

http://armageddongames.net/showthread.php?44957-ZC-not-quitting

As for the bug it looks pretty bad so far, especially if other testers get this as well. Right now (based on this one single post) it's allegro that's at fault. The solution to this is not just a simple fix, but rather hacking up the allegro42.dll to try and find what in the hell is going on. 😞

I'd like to wait for some other user testing to confirm before going that road.

edit: does this happen in windowed mode also?

windowed is too small for my old eyeballs, I only switch into it if I need a screen capture, so I can't say.

this wasn't on exit, it was when trying to load it

Oh sorry, I missed that line. So it looks like it is calling the fast_quit because of a decrypting error (?) ? I'll take a look at it. ..As far as the crash goes, everything appears to have been cleaned up without any problems and the crash actually occurs in allegro's at_exit().
..Also how come you need to reboot so often? (I don't think I even turned this computer off in a month.-probably not recomended..)

I only reboot when ZC screws up.
not very often but about 4 or5 times in the last two days, when I got the quest header problem and this time.
If ZC crashes, I reboot

Uhm.. That's actually not the right allegro.log. What you posted is for ZC. ...Or did you run zc, THEN open zquest and it wouldn't even initialize..?

edit: Bad! :whap:
