Save Game On Entry

A) Doesn't appear to do anything
B) Doesn't appear to have any code to tell it to do anything

I'd imagine all that needs doing is replacing the four occurrences of

  if (tmpscr->flags4&fAUTOSAVE)
{
game->set_continue_scrn( homescr);
game->set_continue_dmap( currdmap);
lastentrance_dmap = currdmap;
lastentrance = game->get_continue_scrn();
}

in Link.cpp

with

  if (tmpscr->flags4&fAUTOSAVE)
{
save_game(true,0);
}

But I have a slightly old version of the source, so that might not be quite right.

Dood your uni internet sucks. Isn't there another source that works in the immediate area? Can you just leech off one of your neighbors? :P

I know I'm sorry, I hate the backseat programming as much (if not more) than you do.
I live in like a student village sorta, so all of my neighbours are also at my uni and have the same internet connection =(

Well if you want I'll make the changes to it. Shouldn't it still set the continue screen though?

edit: Wait. What the hell is it supposed to do, -Won't that bring up the continue screen?

Passing that function will do what it says it should do; bring up the save game screen (like a save game combo would) on entry.
With the first arg as true, it sets the continue point inside the save_game function, so it needn't be written by the function call as well.
Unless you think there's no need to set the the continue point cause there's already a screen flag for that; up to you.

Whatever. I've never used those so I wasn't sure about it. Post 2.5 I'm implementing a non menu exiting weirdness save function. ..Or even a seperate in-game menu where you can save at any time without even losing your x,y position on screen.

Oh and just because I spent five minutes making this, I have to post it: :P

Add? ADD?! As in "add a new feature"?! Do you have a death wish or something? Are you TRYING to get yourself drawn and quartered? 😛
