In the ZC remakes of the 1st and 2nd quests, and Alphadawg's official 3rd quest, the NES Dodongos use CSet 8. Perhaps their cset should be changed to ESP 2 in 1st.qst, 2nd.qst, and 3rd.qst, as well as their proposed versions.
NOTE: Take a close look at these 2 images, and you'll notice a slight difference in the Dodongo's colors.
