I was playing through the official first quest and noticed 2 things.
One several guy rooms in level 7 would have patches of grey flooring from Cset0 I believe. It happens that the uppermost room of level7 has all greyfloor. The other thing I noticed is that when link summons a whirlwind and gets picked up by it when he reaches the edge of the screen the tile is a flame sprite. This flame sprite also appears when it drops link. It only happens for a half a second, so it's hard to catch. I'm not sure if this includes the whirlwinds shot by windrobes, but probably.
One more thing, you can block aquamentus' fireballs, is this normal?

This is an error in a specific quest, not ZC or Zquest. namely, when this quest was being constructed via Zquest (just like the custom ones people make in it), someone forgot to set some tiles and secret tiles, resulting in the above issue.

This is an NES-consistent event: It occurs in the actual game, and taking it out would render an inconsistency. If you're saying there should be a quest rule so you can turn it off though, you have a good idea on your hands.

Yes, yes it is.
play the "proposed1st (etc.) quests to test the latest versions of them.
Is it happening in proposed1st.qst?
Just looking in ZQuest, all of those screens look fine.
Wait. Which first quest file are you opening? 1st.qst or proposed1st.qst?
You are meant to check the proposed quests for bugs as they are the most up to date and will replace the 1st.qst, 2nd.qst and 3rd.qst once ZC 2.5 is finalized.

That's because it was fixed in June '07, back when the proposed quests were first released. 😉
Maybe we should just go ahead and rename them now and delete the old ones to prevent confusion in the future.
