[910] Warp Rings

Since I had no idea to test it with Build 928 yet (due to crashing issues which is now posted as a critical bug), I'll post it for 910.

The warp rings obviously still need some overhauling since nothing really works so far. I've entered all the correct destination screens of the warp rings (two being four-destination rings with 3-stair-warp caves on every end, and one being a whistle warp with eight destinations - dungeon outside entrance squares with green squares set of course).

When I enter a 3-stair-warp cave and walk onto a stair field, I get transported outside of the cave, butt I'm still at the very same square I've been before when I entered the cave.

When I whistle, I get taken by the whirlwind properly, butt then I get placed on another field (completely different to the one I've entered in the warp ring data).

Can anyone confirm this bug, please? I hope I'm not the only one. Someone tried to help me on the forum already in the editor help, and he said he couldn't find anything since I obviously have done all the right stuff so far.

He posted it in a different thread, but I'll copy the link here:

It's password protected, though. You'll have to ask him for the password.

Directions: At the start, get the sword from the cave (if you wish), then head up, right (3x), down, then left (sorry, I don't remember the coordinates). The bottom-left armos reveals the staircase to the 3-stair warp. Taking any of those stairs spits you back out where you came from.

Okay, since this is only a BETA, I will now write the PW here and change it once it's released as a full-worthy quest: 77seven77

Please don't hesitate to post help for me, that would be really great.

they don't, they use the challenge hash that appears on the "enter password" dialog box to reverse engineer the password IIRC.

Actually I personally just comment-out the password checking routine, then recompile ZQuest and open the quest file.

I-I always remember to change it back, though!

It is better practice to use the Challenge Hash method, or else, why even use the Challenge Hash? you can just skip the password then save it again with none.
