I apologize if this was either fixed already or reported already.
I made Link invincible by using the level 4 cheat, and the fire from Link's candle still hurt him. (I haven't tested it with other kind of fire, though.)

This is NES-consistent - not a bug!
No, I'm not talking about being hurt by the flame normally. (Because you can't get invincibility in the NES game, unless you're hit by an enemy, and even then, you're invulnerable to the fire, if memory servs.) I'm talking about when you have cheat level 4 on, and you press 'I'. That should make you invincible completely. But when I touch the fire, it still hurts.
Pressing 'I' with cheats enabled is the same thing as grabbing a clock off an enemy. In the original NES game, even though the clock made him "invincible," Link could still hurt himself with the candle.
I can see why this can get annoying, though. Maybe another quest rule?
please can both of you define what you think "hurting" means? do you think it means recoil or recoil+damage?

I suppose we could do with a NES rule.

Recoil + damage; sorry, I didn't think about that.
Rule added!
