I seem to lag a bit on my vista laptop, I can still play, the game runs great, there are just random times when the game starts to go slow. Is it possible to fix this? If this does not explain to you enough i'll make a video..
Lag on vista
This is most likely just do to ZQuest being a memory hog and Vista being a memory hog. Two hogs = Bad news.
We already have a "ZQuest is slow" bug report. But thanks!

Try to kill as many processes as you can (i.e. that are not critical), set ZC's priority to either "High" or "Above Normal" (realtime will stab your face and make your computer freeze most likely), and see how that works.
Above post. The processes you should close are much like
-Winamp agent
-Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector
-Nokia PC Suite
-Windows Defender (if you have an other firewall i.e. Norton or F-Secure)
-Adobe Acrobat Speedlauncher etc.
You can kill processes by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete, opening up the task manager,
going to the "Processes" tab and start killing them. Also set lower priority on some
processes you don't want to close but which can take some memory. Also if you
have a dual-core processor, you can try setting the affinity for ZC to "CPU 1"
and the affinity for the second most memory hogging process to "CPU 2"

disable aero if your running ZQUEST in A windowed mode. Vista automatically does that if you run a full screen program :P
How do I do this? I always run in windows mode because it crashes my comp when I go to fullscreen making a blue screen popup saying there was an error or somthing and needs to shutdown. What is aero?

This happens to me occasionally whenever I run an emulator. I don't believe ZQuest itself is to blame.
