Has anyone ever tried using this before?
Cause it doesn't seem to be working for me.
ffc script Cheat{
void run(){
while(Game->Cheat == 0) Waitframe();
//etcThe rest of the code should run when you enter a cheat code, right?
Well it doesn't...

Does it work if you leave the screen and come back after entering the cheat code?
Oh, I'll try that.
Not much use to me though, cause I'm making a quest that uses one screen only...
Aren't there four cheat levels though? (Five, if you count inactive.) And then you also have to wonder if it works if you guess an incorrect password. (I.e. for every wrong answer, it deducts a rupee.)
Just thinking aloud here, obviously, but it does appear as if "cheat = 0" doesn't mean a whole lot, relative to what's available. O.o
Okay, I tested this in 819 and I got the same results. Game->Cheat starts out at the value of 0, but it does not change even when the user inputs any of the 4 cheat codes. Also, if you store a value into it (ie. Game->Cheat=1), that value will also not change whenever a cheat is entered, and it does not allow the user to access the level 1 cheats unless they enter the cheat code either. Oh, and it didn't appear that leaving the screen had any effect. (By the way, I only tested it in a global script.)
Hmm... okay.
I think I can fix this.
This has been completely fixed in b861. (Thanks _L_ 😊) This thread can be moved to exterminated bugs.
