What layer are freeform combos supposed to be on by default? I thought they kinda had their own layer, like "1.5" (they appear over layer 1 but under lay 2. In Zquest, it appears exactly that way, which is what i wanted. However, I went in to ZC to play my quest, and the freeform combo appears above both layers 1 & 2. There are no scripts and the freeform combo is not an "overhead" combo type.

Nope, it does not have that set.
The answer is that they are drawn above layer 2 but below layer 3.
But you say that in ZQuest layer 2 appears above them?
No, I believe they're supposed to be layer 2.4.
