[846] Can't compile scripts?

4 replies · 1,272 views · Started 28 July 2008

While updating to 846 and trying to compile my scripts.z file that compiles fine in every earlier version I get this:

Pass 1: Parsing
Pass 2: Preprocessing
Line 487: Syntax Error, unexpected minus, expecting number, on token -
TMP, Link 1: Error P01: Failure to parse imported file std.zh

-- Press A Key --

Here's line 487 in my file, and it doesn't have any minus in it anywhere:

        if(enemy_id == 0) enemy_id = 83;

And for some reason the std.zh isn't working? I didn't change the file or anything.

Here's my .z file if you wanna mess around with that.

The better question is, why did it take 7 entire days before someone noticed that the compiler was broken?

Anyway, this is all because nobody bothered to fix this bug. Or, from another perspective, because I assumed it was a bug. Please delete line 487 in std.zh to temporarily cure this bug.
