So this British naval officer accidentally dropped his watch in the
ocean in 1941, during World War II. He was very sad about it.

Amazing. I remember when I was playing football with some friends and my necklace fell off into the grass. I thought I'd never see it again a few weeks later we were playing football in the same field and my friend found it. I'm sure my sentiments that day are only a fraction of what this man felt.
