There's been quite a debate about the answer to this enigma:
Well, as explained by the editor in chief:
Chris Slate wrote:Well, see, the moon itself was a clue about this month's Castlevania cover game! Um...get it? (Gulp.) Okay, so we stretched things by hinting that clues could be found "in" the moon--it was all Steve's fault! He wanted to deceive everyone, and we tried to stop him but he's freakishly strong!
So, the moon was to hint about the game Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for the DS. I give 1000 Pineconn Dollars to whomever guessed that, and 50 Pineconn Dollars to everyone else who participated.

Does this mean I get 1000 Pineconn Dollars?
Yep. You are now rich!
So it only figures that the NP moon wasn't a big, huge revelation. Ah well.
Crap. I had 500 pineconn dollars riding on Pokemon. I guess I'll have to start selling my body. Any takers?
Yeah, I had a feeling when that game was announced.
Honestly, all I care about is that it was NOT Pokemon, because that was a stupid guess :P
Dang, I was really hoping for something like "Earthbound DS". Oh well.

The fact that so many people think that Nintendo is actually going to bother with the Mother/Earthbound property again outside of Japan is pretty fucking funny.
Ya, I'm, guessing they won't. I hope they will, but common sense tells me they won't. Oh well, if they do, my friend knows where to buy Japenese game. So I'll just have to play it without understanding what's going on. 😊

Why would you want to do that? The entire draw of the Mother series is reading the quirky dialog and story, otherwise it's just another boring JRPG.

Alternativly, I could whip out a Japanese to English translator. Or I could just figure out what's they're saying by seeing what's going on.
Hahaha suck it you pokemon fans I told you it wasn't pokemon!
Yay! I'm 50 bucks richer! (Runs, trips, and loses money.) Well that sucks...
But serriously, a new Castlevania should be fun to play. I've always enjoyed the series. Good to know! 😃
Ya, even though it's not Earthbound, I still get 50 Pineconn dollars. I wonder what this sudden give away of money will do to Pineconn's currency...
Man, what an anticlimax...
