Also the system colors stopped appearing as well, but that may be better that way.
Lv pallete CSets don't appear in 8-bit tile editing window. 798
I don't really understand your post. Also, the system colors aren't supposed to appear, as they were actually (while looking at the tile in the tile editor) overwriting CSet 14. Please post a screen shot explaining what you are talking about.
Here's the cave palette with one tile converted to 8-bit:
And here's what I saw in the tile editor:
In addition, the level palettes do not appear in the normal tile editing window either.

Ah sorry, my main csets 2349 are solid rows of pink so it's as clear as night and day in that pic. It seems you can get the tile editor to display the correct csets by clicking the edit main pallete box. Basically a before/after shot of doing this.

Wait, what!? We get a CSET 14? Is this supposed to be usable by all 8-bit tiles? How do I edit it?
Man, I am borderline incoherent when on no sleep. <_<. Anyway, when you try and edit an 8-bit tile it won't display the colors in the current level pallete you have selected. It displays the main or overworld pallete instead.
I figuered out though that by clicking the pallete edit box in the tile editor fixes the problem. (from the pic)
