If the Quick Sword Rule is checked, Link will freeze if he uses the sword. This is happening in the newest Windows Build (796).
Quick Sword causes Link to freeze!
"Freeze"?
Did he originally continue moving forward while slashing, or something?

No. If doesn't matter whether or not he had the slash ability, it just causes his sword to get stuck, thereby causing him to remain stuck in his slashing or stabbing animation, and being completely unable to move. This time, it turns out that the quick sword ability simply does not stop. Try checking the rule, and testing it out.
Here! You can check the scrapped version of my current test quest: http://www.freewebs.com/masterpikachu/ZC%20Content/Incomplete%20Quests/LOZ%2DGeneration4.qst It happens with both classic movement, and diagonal movement. In addition, the quick sword will not stop until an enemy hurts Link, or until a whirlwind (whistle or enemy) picks him up.
I thought I fixed this. L, in your quick sword fix, you set a variable (don't remember it off hand) to 0. It should be -1.
Actually, you did fix this! Which is why I can't replicate it now.
*sigh* Since _L_ can't replicate it, is anybody else seeing this? Or is it just me?:sweat:BTW, how do you developers set your variables anyhow?
I believe DN fixed it after the current version of ZC got released and was just letting L know.

Thanks for letting me know.😉
Oops. Should have posted the confirmation here... The one I just posted is a duplicate.
Confirmed by my friend while he was testing.
Why is quick sword broken all of a sudden?

If you read DN's post, you'll notice that _L_ made a mistake in his fix, which caused the Quick Sword problem. Though I'm not sure why he can't replicate it! ![]()

Okay, this bug no longer occurs in Build 798!
