780: Singular Flag delayed activation?

Whenever I try to use singular flags to set up a multi-switch puzzle, the secrets activate...but only after you've left the room and returned.

(There are two screens because I wanted to see if it mattered if the flag was inherent or placed)

EDIT: I wonder if it has anything to do with being on an OW Dmap...
*goes to test*
EDIT2: Nope. Same problem on Dungeons and Interiors.

Well, let's look at the wiki:

1. If Screen Secrets were triggered by a Trigger Combo Flag, then the combo on which that flag was placed (henceforth, the "Triggering Combo"😉 is replaced with its matching Secret Combo.
2. All other combos flagged with Trigger Combo Flags are replaced with their matching Secret Combos...
...unless the Triggering Combo (if any) was flagged with both a Trigger Combo Flag and the "Singular" or "Singular(+16-31)" flag.
3. All other combos flagged with "Secret Tile" flags are replaced with their matching Secret Combos...
...unless the Triggering Combo (if any) was flagged with both a Trigger Combo Flag and the "Singular" flag...
...or the "All Triggers->16-31" Screen Flag is set, and there are still some Trigger Combo Flags left on the screen.
4. Furthermore, the screen's "Secrets" State is set, unless certain conditions are met (see below).

So, here's what's happening:
i) The Triggering Combo changes.
ii) The other Trigger Flags do not change (because they are flagged with "Singular"😉.
iii) The Secret Tile flags do not change.
iv) The "Secrets" screen state is set.

And, when you re-enter the screen:
i) If the "Secrets" screen state is set, then all of the flags are changed.

Therefore, everything is working as usual. No bug!

(Oh, if you want to make secret tiles that do change when all four triggers are removed, you need to:
* Replace "Singular" flags with "Singular(+16-31)"
* Set the "All Triggers->16-31" screen flag.

Also, set the "All Triggers->Perm Scrt" flag if you want, which I think you do.)

...but I thought (according to the wiki, in some places at least) that triggering even one "Singular +16-31" will activate all the secrets. Or something...it's really not clearly worded.

95 Singular(+16-31) As with 94, but also triggers the 16-31 secrets when THIS trigger is triggered.
The emphasis on THIS is confusing.

'Not A Bug' thread moved from quarantined to exterminated. Dark Nation (or other developer), how am I doing? Reply only in one of the threads I moved.
