We got anything planned for April Fools this year?
I want to do something different from...the norm...
Normally, the joke is killed in about five seconds by the first reply that says, "April Fools! Lulz!"
Instead, we should do something that actually continues to be fun...
Maybe all of the active Mods and Admins can register a new username...and use that to post on April 1st...
Then, we could have a competition for the members to guess who was who.
Maybe the winner could get a free year of Premium Membership?
All of the usernames should we funny...and in the end, we can move all of the nonsense to the archives.
I saw this done at another message board a few years ago...it was harmless, pretty funny, and a lot more fun than the normal "we got totally haxxored!"

I was going to mention I sold the site to Lighing-Z but do it before April 1st. I was even going to contact him and have him believe he totally was getting the site, thus april fooling him as well. (And he'd be posting and fueling it)
Perhaps it's too late for that now though.
ctrl-alt-delete's is not a bad idea. We could each pick an infamous banned member (lightning-z, the gimp, zeldapro, etc) and "take over" AGN. If their original accounts are still around and permabanned, we can even commandeer their real account for the day.
On April 2nd, we can have a competition for who can correctly match the most staff to banned members, and who on the staff posted most in the character of their banned member.

I think it would be pretty cool if we could get this going.
One of the staff should register lightening-z's account... and "act" like he/she's the one that's getting the site.

That's fine, it'll probably be most active in the evening anyway.
I'll set up the accounts tomorrow afternoon. Everyone will be the equivalent of a Senior Moderator with full ban privileges. Feel free to abuse your power however you see fit - including banning real staff! - but don't do anything irreversible (eg instead of permanently deleting threads, move them to the trash) and keep a record here of whatever you do so it's easily cleaned up afterwards.
